[player_tooltip player_id='226294' first='Gabe' last='Fields'] 2025 RB St. Joseph Central
The speedy junior running back continued his strong season with a 44 carry for 280 yards and 5 touchdowns in a tough loss to Oak Park after leading them early. Fields did all he could do using his speed and shiftiness on his way to a big night. He continues to be among the leading rushers in the state for 2023, and is drawing college attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='691331' first='Jaylen' last='Thomas'] 2026 RB Capitol City
The explosive sophomore from Jefferson City is having a monster season so far rushing for 1,523 yards and 23 touchdowns through 8 games so far. He kept it going with a 21 carry for 294 yard and 3 touchdown game in week eight. Thomas is another speedy back who can take it to the house once he gets into the second line of defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='263502' first='Ryver' last='Peppers'] 2025 RB Ft. Osage
The state of Missouri is blessed to be loaded with talented running backs this year. Peppers is another one who is a big play back who can do it all. He had himself a 24 carry for 274 yards and 4 touchdown game in a win against Truman last week. Peppers is also an outstanding receiver. Colleges are taking notice and it will only continue.

[player_tooltip player_id='668864' first='Bleyne' last='Bryant'] 2024 RB Bolwing Green
Bryant is a monster on both offense and defense. A D1 prospect getting looked at primarily on the defensive side of the ball continues to make a case that he could be an offensive weapo on the next level with game like the one he had last Friday where he ran for 275 yards on only 13 carries for 5 touchdowns. Bleyne also had 5 tackles and a sack on defense.
