is still uncommitted, and I am scratching my head as to why that is the case. He has been on multiple visits and holds one offer from Missouri State. Ethan put up great numbers during Rockhurst’s postseason run, so don’t be surprised when coaches turn on the tape and try to sway his commitment before his graduation date. I was impressed with Ethan’s improved accuracy on the run hitting receivers deep and threading the needle in the redzone. Improved arm strength and decisiveness shows confidently hitting downfield receivers outside of the pocket and in the face of pressure. Ethan’s combination of size, twitch, and vision displayed in the open field suggests he has all the tools to be a dual threat at the next level.

is one of the most coveted uncommitted 2024 passers in the state. He visited Kansas this fall, and I would not be surprised to see more schools surrounding Kansas City to come in late to Ethan’s recruitment this winter. Quickness, good vision, and top speed give Ethan a chance to be a true dual threat at the next level. Good touch shows delivering throws into the bucket for receivers running vertically outside the numbers. Ethan’s next level combination of accuracy and athleticism allows him to escape blitzers with his legs and extend plays with his arm whenever he is forced outside of the pocket.

is an incoming senior quarterback that has truly stood out to me. He is coming off a strong junior year in which he threw for 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns. Ethan throws a very impressive deep ball, showing the ability to lead his receivers down the field and put the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. He has also shown the ability to escape the pocket while keeping his eyes down the field to find the open receiver and make throws on the run. Hansen is also a threat as a ball carrier, finishing this past season with 440 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Ethan currently holds one offer from Missouri State and I expect more to come his way as he definitely has the talent to play quarterback at the next level.

is a force to be reckoned with both on the ground and through the air. In fact, the first play I saw of Hansen was him delivering a 50 yard touchdown strike flat footed. Yep, you read that right. His arm strength is unfathomable for a high schooler, and he can deliver it from anywhere. Another play I observed saw him casually tossing a 40 yard touchdown pass while he was in a dead sprint towards the sideline. As a passer, Hansen is clearly dangerous, but his running highlights are somehow even more eye popping. When he tucks the ball and takes off, he is more akin to a running back than a QB. His top speed outpaces most defensive backs, and this forces opposing coaches to put defenders on him at all times. If Hansen gets to the sideline, he is at the very least picking up a first down. At 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, he is admittedly on the lighter side for quarterbacks, but his sheer athleticism more than makes up for this. Hansen is heading into his senior year at Rockhurst, and his dynamic style of play will surely turn heads in the fall.

enters his final year as the signal caller at Rockhurst. With a dominant offensive line and lack of elite height foolish evaluators will try to knock Ethan’s consistency; A highlight reel full of chunk plays as a runner & thrower proves why Ethan is the spark that makes Rockhurst’s offense go.
Ethan’s accuracy shines on bootleg action leading wide receivers on intermediate throws. Ethan’s speed and athleticism shows as a runner; College coaches will take notice of how Ethan consistently escapes untouched into the open field on quarterback draw plays. Ethan does a good job remaining calm when pressured and has the athletic ability to create with his legs. However, Ethan’s next level extend ability gets highlighted by the way he surveys the entire field before making out-of-pocket decisions.
