is an all-state long jumper when he is not lighting up the football field for Fort Osage High School. Ryver received his first offer from South Dakota State last month. I would expect the Jackrabbit scholarship to be the first of many from schools in the Missouri Valley Conference. Watch out for more schools in the region to offer Ryver before his junior season has finished.
Ryver’s next level burst shows accelerating to the endzone after slowing down to escape traffic in the run box. Ryver shows a good combination of vision and lateral quickness when finding openings towards the sidelines after evading defenders at the second level. Next level size, power, and balance get displayed consistently running through a crowded line of scrimmage to create positive yardage out of nothing. Good top speed, solid hands, tracking and adjustment ability highlight Ryver’s receiver versatility in college.

. Sporting a 440 lb. squat and All-State track & field honors as a long jumper, not to mention his All-Conference, All-District, and Second Team All-State nods for his exploits as a RB last fall, Peppers heard from a heavyweight FCS contender for his first college football offer in late June when the defending national champion South Dakota State offered a FCS scholarship. It wasn’t a big surprise, as Peppers is already decorated, productive (251 carries for 1,634 yards and 21 TDs + 480 receiving yards and 7 TDs through the air), and athletic, and the Jacks have had a ton of recent success with Missouri-born RBs. Peppers explodes through gaps like he’s shot out of a cannon and is lethal between the tackles, where his long legs and long strides, combined with his burst and top end speed, help him create house calls from slight gap integrity mistakes from a defense. He can can get to top speed very quickly, has an extra gear of pace that pulls away from pursuers at the second and third level of a defense, and accelerates out of his cuts. In terms of breaking tackles, he possesses contact balance, twitch, and a shifty gait that keeps defenders reaching. I also like his vision, and he’s got some skills as a WR that created big plays in the passing game. Overall, Peppers is a splash play machine and has a noticeable and eye-popping amount of speed that is really impressive on film. More offers coming!

Ryver was the first running back to pop out to me at the South Dakota State prospect camp and it seems like the Jackrabbits saw what I saw too on Thursday. This young man had some of the most athletic feet I watched amongst the running back group at SDSU. He showed a very significant twitch when I watched Ryver change of directions as the word fluid would be an understatement as a word I commonly use. The first step watching this young man showed off plenty of electricity from my eyes, as Ryver was also extremely instinctive with his footwork I caught in the early reps. His tape shows a ton of shock value early as a running back prospect that tests the defense to catch right at the tip of the first level as has such bolting agility to set the tone for the rest of his runs which remains consistent on tape. The Jackrabbits jumped early on this 2025 RB prospect out of Missouri, and certainly won’t be the last Division I school to get this kid on his radar, as his recruitment I see is about to blow up.
