The football off season is among us, and although I will miss the action of a football game on Friday nights, this gives me an opportunity to dive into how well of a 2025 season these athletes really had. More specifically these 5 young gun slingers in this article had a great 2025 season.

I think this is an appropriate time to recognize the young up and coming signal callers. Every QB on this list put their name on the map with a great 2025 year and continue to work on their craft this off season.

Biermann is ranked Missouri's #1 quarterback in class 2029 for a reason.

So wise beyond his young years, Biermann put up 30 passing touchdowns and only 7 interceptions in his freshman year. He showcased a super strong arm, and also a high level of football IQ. Sometimes when your a young quarterback your reduced to having one or two options to throw to and you stick with it. That isn't the case with Biermann, he reads the defense at a very high level and goes through each progression like a seasoned veteran.

[player_tooltip player_id='1674661' first='Braden' last='Biermann'] is just getting started in his football journey, and i can't wait to watch him grow.

2688 passing, 27 passing TD's, 8 rushing TD's.

The "lefty gun slinger" from Jackson, Missouri [player_tooltip player_id='2056706' first='Maks' last='Thebeau'] has something great brewing. I'm officially a fan of this young man, he was in attendance at the Prepredzone stock up showcase in St.Joseph, and had a pretty good performance there. But where Maks shines most is when he is in full pads and he can just use his natural athletic ability to make plays.

He a has a smooth left handed throwing motion, matched with the ability to get out and make plays with his legs. To kick things off he's only in 8th grade and stands 6'3 and 175 pounds with more room to grow. Just with those measurements alone should have you at the edge of your seat. Then the kid gets on the football field and just shows off crazy potential for such a young football player.

He can flat out play some football, Jennings can hit every throw from top to bottom which is impressive for only being a eighth grade quarterback. They love to get Peavy out in space and let him hurt the defense with his legs. Peavy is a natural athlete that can see the field very well, even when the play is breaking down he somehow finds a way to generate positive yards. Taylon also had a good outing at the KC stock up showcase, showing that he's not only an electric runner but also a very capable pocket passer.

I'm very interested to see how the rest of his high school football career unfolds.

"Gamer" that's the first thing that comes to mind when I watch Spickard play football.

Some quarterbacks either have the "IT" factor and some don't, Mr.Spickard definitely has the "IT" factor. Spickard can run an offense with the best of them, he has a full understanding of how to play the game and he does it extremely well.

He works really hard on his craft, and continues to attend various college camps around the area, and always leaves with raving reviews.
