is a pocket passer who shows a wide variety of abilities. One of his most notable skills is his decision making and the ways he alters his throws based on each specific scenario he is in. Simply put, Gibson knows when to put some air under the ball, when to make risky throws in traffic, and most importantly, he showcases a great deal of trust in his receivers. He’ll throw it off one foot or in motion if he knows his guy is down there, and more times than not, these risks lead to big rewards. His 6-foot-3, 210 pound frame is surprisingly fluid outside of the pocket, and his accuracy on the run is superb. Between his mobility and maturity, Gibson appears to be well on his way to another great season in the fall.

Gibson, a 6-2, 215-pounder, is a player we expect to have a big junior season after transferring from run-heavy Fox to Rockwood Summit, which should feature a more wide-open spread passing attack. We’ve seen Gibson at several camps and combines this season and he’s impressed at every opportunity. He’s got good size for the position, a strong arm and is athletic enough to make plays with his feet. Summit has a good team around him and Gibson makes the Falcons even better. Gibson moves up from No. 66 to No. 30 overall with this update.
