- Still looked at as a potential national prospect from my perspective despite his fluctuating rank and recruiting momentum.
- Taking a look at Adefolarin’s mid-season tape, I’m glad to see responsibilities and production haven’t started far from what I’ve become accustomed to throughout the years. The athlete along the defensive front, this is where Neumann-Goretti’s front-seven gets its energy from. A real bender off the edge, one that can rush the passer with his hand on or off the dirt. OLB suites his skill set better than DE, as Adefolarin proves to be comfortable in space.
- A brilliant football player, one of the more disciplined prospects up front, doesn’t always scream off the edge, doesn’t always fall for misdirections, It’s the reason Adefolarin can be looked at as an equally effective run-stopper. The seniors deployed beside Adeforlarin provide mass and power, the junior provides some juice that opposing OCs must account for.

Weak-side backer who is excellent at shedding and/or avoiding initial blocking attempts at the second-level. He gets free and is ready to headhunt for ball carriers early in reps. A young man who caught my attention during the playoffs last Fall, he’s kept my attention through the first half of the season. Bradley is the sprinter of the defense. Not necessarily the fastest kid, actually far from that, but he’s the prospect who will likely be running for the majority of the game, he’s capable of keeping his motor revving enough to chase down kids all over the field. Bradley works with power in front of him, athleticism, and play-making behind him, while he and the rest of the backer unit run and hit like dogs. I like the amount of pressure Bradley exerts onto QBs without blitzes being called, he can track QBs that escape the pocket. Happy to see him playing relatively well.
A prospect formerly out of Smyrna HS, played his ball at Delaware Military Academy in Wilmington, Delaware, last Fall, so Dorsey is an entirely new name to me. Was an All-District DB at DMA. 5’11, 175 pounds, doesn’t have much NG tape on Hudl yet outside of a 40-second cut-up from the O’Hara game. Even though I don’t have a clear look at his game, I can imagine Dorsey III being the missing link in the secondary consisting of Hooper, Reid, and Prescott. This junior rounds out a special group, one that could win them games in their own right. Without seeing his Delaware tape, I can conclude that Dorsey is comfortable working close to the LOS at CB. Great fit, I’ll be looking out for tape out of this young man moving forward.
A prospect stuck on our watchlist. 6’3, 190 pounds, self-lists as an OLB. I like some of the things on tape against O’Hara, yet I don’t have enough to work with in terms of providing a ranking or a proper evaluation. Despite production comparisons being way off, I imagine the NG staff look at DonJuan Clark DonJuan Clark 6’2″ | 185 lbs | LB Neumann-Goretti | 2025 PA as a potential off-the-edge pair to Daniel Adefolarin Daniel Adefolarin 6’3″ | 230 lbs | DL Neumann-Goretti | 2025 State PA . More than anything, I hope Clark can provide coaches with substantial tape to work with. Before doing so, he’s a name I’ll stash for future NG Inquiries.
Was one of the many Saints offered by UNC Charlotte when they came through back in May. 6’7, 295 pounds, a mammoth of a man, Fawaaz Johnson Fawaaz Johnson 6’7″ | 295 lbs | OL Neumann-Goretti | 2026 State PA sadly has yet to put together any tape on Hudl. With trusted seniors, manning tackle spots, and Dodson being kicked inside to guard, there might not be an opportunity for Johnson at this time. He’s still an underclassman, so there’s hardly an issue with him being held on the sideline right now. One thing’s for sure, I’ll be keeping my eye out on him moving forward. I could be wrong, and he could be seeing the field, I just haven’t been able to dig up any film on Johnson.
Looking back at some of the recorded tape I have from the game against LC, I see a giant lineman playing guard and moving much smaller players out of running lanes. I’ll keep digging.
The same could be said about Wydeek Collier Wydeek Collier 6’5″ | 185 lbs | WR Neumann-Goretti | 2026 State PA , who currently ranks as one of the better sophomore wideout prospects in the state. Collier is going to have to earn every rep in this offense. I know he’s seeing the field, as Collier has some noteworthy catches and blocks on tape at the time of writing. Happy to see him see the field so early, should be a good sign for his future at the program. These two have promise, yet they both have long ways to go in terms of development, both on and off the field.
Neumann doesn’t complete too many passes during the duration of their games. Neumann looks to pound the rock, but can do so with many weapons. Whether Prescott is taking handoffs or keeping and tucking reps at QB, Wharton is tucking and running, or Mitchell or Jefferson is getting reps, Neumann wants the ball in their athlete’s hands.
No two backs get more opportunities than former freshman standouts Terrance Page Terrance Page 5’11” | 170 lbs | RB Neumann Goretti | 2026 State PA and Amahj Gowans Amahj Gowans 5’8″ | 170 lbs | RB Neumann Goretti | 2026 State PA . As I stated, the NG rushing attack is a group effort, yet Page and Gowans receive the bulk of the carries. Gowans, a former top RB at our Spring camp, doesn’t have any tape up on Hudl yet, Terrance Page Terrance Page 5’11” | 170 lbs | RB Neumann Goretti | 2026 State PA does, however.
Page’s tape against West Catholic shows off what he’s capable of in open space, as well as between the tackles. Said tape has Page scoring on two occasions, one from inside the red zone, one from 65 yards out. Gowans and Page also scored on runs while I was in attendance against Lansdale Catholic. Couple Wharton and Prescott’s abilities with this duo, and you’ll have a stable of threats to thwart on the ground if you’re an opposing DC.
Shaheed Clement Shaheed Clement 6’0″ | 155 lbs | DB Neumann Goretti | 2026 State PA had a hell of a game in front of me against Lansdale Catholic. Unsure if Dorsey was in at corner in this one. I was sure, however, that Clement was locking things up and suffocating wideouts downfield all night. Once LC began to lose time in this one, more vertical shots were taken toward Clement’s side of the field. Stride for stride, step for step, Clement was able to make things difficult for would-be pass catchers to come down with vertical shots thrown by Cole Meehan Cole Meehan 6’2″ | 190 lbs | QB Lansdale Catholic | 2024 State PA . Clement is just 5’9, less than 150 pounds, yet he was witnessed stacking wideouts downfield using said slight frame. Afterward, I learned he was a former Imhotep Panther, which makes sense, considering the program breeds DBs. I want to see more tape in the future, Clement really impressed me.

No tape, not much on Hudl to speak on, yet this is a sophomore who might see some time in the future, name stashed.

A current role player who contributes for the staff when called upon, another name to stash for the future.
Carter Bashir Carter Bashir 6'3" | TE Neumann-Goretti | 2026 State PA
Carter Bashir Carter Bashir 6'3" | TE Neumann-Goretti | 2026 State PA
Upon arriving at the South Philly Supersite, Carter Bashir Carter Bashir 6’3″ | TE Neumann-Goretti | 2026 State PA was one of the first prospects that caught my eye in gold and black. Bashir, a 6’3, 240-pound TE/De prospect, is an entirely new name to me, one that was also offered by UNC Charlotte back in late May. Carries his 240-pound frame well, looks good in person. Love the multi-faceted role applied to the underclassman Bashir. Neumann doesn’t mind giving him reps inside next to Deshon Dodson Deshon Dodson 6’4″ | 260 lbs | DL Neumann-Goretti | 2024 State PA , working against smaller, weaker IOL. Bashir also has the body and moves to challenge tackles if Adefolarin and Dodson can’t be in the game. Turn to the offensive side of the football to see the NG coaching staff get a bit more creative. Can align in the backfield to lead block and serve as a full back for any of the backs at NG’s disposal. Lead-blocking should help Bashir become accustomed to blocking schemes around the LOS. This also bodes well for his future, just in case he needs to become an in-line blocker at TE. Didn’t witness him catch or run any routes, which is fine, but he looks athletic enough to be trusted and asked to do so. Seen pulling as the off-tackle YE in the backfield as well.
