BISHOP AMAT</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bishop Amat needs to win this game to clinch the third place spot in the Mission League. The Lancers are coming off a 35-17 win over Chaminade where [player_tooltip player_id='147734' first='Richard' last='Munoz Jr']. had a passing touchdown, receiving touchdown and an interception. [player_tooltip player_id='406732' first='Frankie' last='Villalbazo'] has been improving at quarterback as the season goes along. Notre Dame beat Alemany last week and [player_tooltip player_id='282750' first='Steele' last='Pizzella'] had four touchdowns (three passing, one rushing). The game was a blowout so the running game shined with <strong>Jimmy Monte</strong> leading the way. <strong>Erikas Puodziunas</strong> and <strong>Lloyd Weaver</strong> are both capable of big games at receiver. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='398475' first='Brandon' last='Bryant']</strong> is a star on defense for Notre Dame. ORANGE</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>If Orange beats Santa Ana, this sets up a three-way tie for the Orange Coast League championship with the two teams and St. Margaret's. Orange dominated this game last year but all but two of its star skill players have transferred or graduated. Sacramento State commit [player_tooltip player_id='942936' first='Ardwon' last='Morris'] leads the Southern Section in rushing with 1,786 yards and 24 rushing touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='282709' first='Hype' last='Grand'] is a real dual threat at quarterback and <strong>Wesley Lundell</strong> is an emerging sophomore receiver. [player_tooltip player_id='270918' first='Charles' last='Hughes IV'] is another very good running back at Santa Ana who has rushed for 1,025 yards and 20 touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='282761' first='Michael' last='Tollefson'] has been a great running quarterback for JSerra this season but <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='943035' first='Zander' last='Singh']</strong> played quarterback for the Lions last week against St. John Bosco. <strong>Jared Referente</strong> is one of the leading tacklers in the Trinity League for JSerra and [player_tooltip player_id='282705' first='Madden' last='Faraimo'] is a high-level prospect. [player_tooltip player_id='723691' first='Luke' last='Webb'] did not play against St. John Bosco. [player_tooltip player_id='406653' first='Logan' last='Christensen'] is a good two-way junior for the Lions. [player_tooltip player_id='406664' first='Leo' last='Hannan'] threw for 343 yards and four touchdowns in Servite's win over Santa Margarita last week. UPLAND</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rancho Cucamonga is 9-0 and already clinched a share of the Baseline League title. Upland can clinch a share of the league title with a win in this game. If La Habra wins and Troy beats Sunny Hills, there will be a three-way tie for the league championship. <strong>Kenneth Saucedo</strong> threw three touchdown passes last week for La Habra in a win over Fullerton. <strong>Brandon Giron</strong> is capable of big games at running back for the Highlanders and <strong>Bryce Whitley</strong> may be the best athlete on the field in this game. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1257388' first='Gabriel' last='Jimenez']</strong> leads the league in tackles with 98 and <strong>Jesse Vargas</strong> is second in the league with 81. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1215159' first='Anthony' last='Abad']</strong> of Sonora leads the league in rushing with 1,106 yards and 15 touchdowns. <strong>Landon Martin</strong> is a solid game manager at quarterback. Los Alamitos quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='282704' first='Alonzo' last='Esparza'] is fourth in Orange County in passing with 2,090 yards and 23 touchdowns. Edison running back <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='348172' first='Julius' last='Gillick']</strong> has been one of the best rushers in the county which helps freshman quarterback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1717984' first='Sam' last='Thomson']</strong>. St. Bonaventure quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='115460' first='Anthony' last='Wolter'] has been outstanding since returning from injury and <strong>Koen Glover</strong> is a big playmaker. DJ Doss is a quality receiver and sophomore <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1183006' first='Jeremiah' last='Barrios']</strong> leads the defense. Oaks Christian has some big names on offense including Baylor commit [player_tooltip player_id='683629' first='Nate' last='Bennett'] at quarterback. Bennett threw for 342 yards and four touchdowns last week against Simi Valley. [player_tooltip player_id='195515' first='Chase' last='Farrell'] is the best receiver in the league and one of the best in the Southern Section.
