Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks quarterback Steele Pizzella Steele Pizzella Steele Pizzella 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Notre Dame | 2025 State CA was released from his letter of intent from Washington State and committed to Wake Forest.

Pizzella had signed with Washington State on the early signing day, but followed coach Jake Dickert to Wake Forest.

He completed 61 percent of his passes for 2610 yards with 29 touchdowns and 12 interceptions this season for Notre Dame. Pizzella also ran for 1040 yards with eight touchdowns.

Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) quarterback Steele Pizzella Steele Pizzella Steele Pizzella 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Notre Dame | 2025 State CA announced his commitment to Washington State on Monday.

He threw for 2187 yards with 22 touchdowns and eight interceptions last season for Notre Dame. Before playing at Notre Dame he was a standout at Simi Valley.

Pizzella had a good showing at the Elite 11 Regionals in LA. He’s one of the fastest quarterbacks in the area and had a strong track season.

He chose Washington State over 13 other schools that offered him including Georgia, Minnesota and Utah among others. Pizzella is the fifth player from California in Washington State’s recruiting class and the lone quarterback.

Pizzella looked really athletic in the speed drills and had one of the best motors in the camp.

He treated every rep like it was crunch time in a big game. Coaches loved his work ethic and he placed the ball well in accuracy drills and redzone drills.
