Oaks Christian quarterback Nate Bennett Nate Bennett 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB Kings Christian | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to Baylor on Thursday.

Bennett completed 66 percent of his passes for 1,228 yards with 14 touchdowns last season.

He chose Baylor over seven other schools that offered him including Hawaii, Liberty and Utah State.

Bennett is the first player from California in Baylor’s 2024 recruiting class.

Bennett was the starter for Oaks Christian last season and completed 66 percent of his passes with 14 touchdowns.

His release is quick and his timing is good with his receivers. He has a good grasp of pass protection because he always seems to know which side pressure is coming from. He’s not a dual threat quarterback but he moves well in the pocket and can scramble when needed.

He had a good showing at the Throw Down event and has reportedly improved his arm strength.

Bennett has eight offers including Hawaii, Liberty and Utah State.
