- 6’2, 190
- WR/TE capable, can play WILL OLB on the other side of the ball too
- 16 receptions, 300+ yards, 4 TDs, KOR production too
- doesn’t have the weight/frame to be labeled a true TE, yet he can still be packaged in TE-sets that ask him to run routes in the middle of the field.
- Where he might lack in weight, he makes up for in surprising YAC ability for his size.
- Asked to run routes and be a target at all three levels of the field.
- Can be a middle of the field dominator, but see him outside the numbers or in the red zone, you’ve got a weapon deployable all throughout the field to mirror Matt Sieg Matt Sieg 6’0″ | 175 lbs | ATH Fort Cherry | 2026 State PA ‘s playmaking ability.
- plenty of quality reps in run support on defense, some sacks too, although I like his projection to the offensive side of the ball moving forward.

- senior mid-season tape out on Shaler senior pass-catcher Joey Desabato Joey Desabato 5’10” | 180 lbs | ATH Shaler Area | 2024 State PA
- 5’10, 180
- 7 reception, 190-yard game where he scored twice caught my eye.
- slippery after the catch, surprised in each rep that no one can bring the kid down. Good field awareness has him knowing where all would-be tacklers are around him.
- Shaler likes to involve Desabato in passing concepts that break open late downfield, usually these type of concepts are left for the 6’2, 200 190 pound wideout threat that serves as the team’s number one. In this case, it’s Joey Desabato Joey Desabato 5’10” | 180 lbs | ATH Shaler Area | 2024 State PA , who proves he can handle that role in this offense.
- deploy him at any WR alignment at this level, he can work.
- Has quality reps as a single-high safety on defense.
- t
- 6’0, 160-pounds
- has a 0-4 Week highlight tape out on Hudl
- 17 receptions, 430+ yards, 8 scores
- 2 INTs
- all of this production and his tape starts off with two kick returns that went for scores. Fully encompassing his complete skill set.
- Better stop and start ability than I imagined, seen catching a hitch and completely out-accelerating DBs in his viscinity.
- ton of screens caught at the LOS that had no business becoming positive plays, taken to the house for scores thanks to Jackson’s ability to make kids miss in space and beat angles to the pylon.
- both interceptions on tape showcase his hand-eye coordination and concentration skills.
- interceptions are great, yet I’m interested in his complete game at corner, promise at this position would do wonders for his stock.
- t
- 6’0, 185
- no complete mid-season tape, just cut-ups on single-games on Hudl
- tough to get a full view on his game because of this, yet I like many reps he’s putting out on film.
- junior Freeport linebacker that is in on both run stops and pass coverage opportunities.
- recent game against Mt. Pleasant caught my eye, registered a sack and a TFL, recorded 8 tackles, all from various alignments.
- A deeper eval will come once he publishes a complete mid-season tape.
Alex Achenbach Alex Achenbach RB Williams Valley | 2024 PA
Alex Achenbach Alex Achenbach RB Williams Valley | 2024 PA
- t
- Williams Valley HS senior back who is catching my eye late in the process, that might be my fault If I’m being honest.
- has a complete five-week tape on Hudl lasting a good three-minutes.
- experience working in shotgun sets to work off of tackles, also has experience working with a lead blocker in an I-formation, or other variants of tight sets.
- gets good displacement on lateral jump cuts.
- later in his tape, Achenbach showcases his ability to play emergency QB if need be, as well as the ability to catch balls out of the backfield and play safety for WVHS.
- looks to be producing well early on this season, ton of scores seen on tape already
- Won’t wow with size, going to have to win over coaches with his game tape, luckily, it’s pretty good.
- t
- first underclassmen on this list.
- 6’1, 170
- 4.0 GPA
- has a first-three tape excluding his game against Newport where Shepps went off for 210 yards and 3 scores.
- first two reps on tape show off Shepps ability to locate and high-point balls despite him not being overtly tall. 6’1, good size, but some of these catches make you think you’re looking at a 6’2, 6’3 prospect.
- Juniata runs sets that are tight pre-snap, yet many of the weapons stationed in-line break off and run routes downfield. Shepps is getting a good look at how things work at the second level because of this alignment, not solely being stashed outside the numbers.
- Has a ton of reps making his QB look good, he’s a jump ball option whose rate might flip from 50/50 to 60/40 in his favor.
- A big play waiting to happen at this level.
- Adept at coming away with balls in heavy traffic/clutter.
- Excited to see what this kid does each week, looks far along for a sophomore.
Nikolas Engelmore Nikolas Engelmore 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Avonworth | 2025 State PA
Nikolas Engelmore Nikolas Engelmore 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Avonworth | 2025 State PA
- t
- 6’4, 280
- OT capable.
- wrecks weaker competition, some kids don’t man-handle kids that they should, Engelmore shuts down that conversation quick, he punishes kids who can’t match his power, both in the trenches and at the second level.
- has reps both pulling to and away the center, Avonworth likes their Right Tackle to get active against the run, Engelmore fits the bill.
- locks out his arms on kids on more than one occasion when down-blocking.
- locates and identifies his assignment before crossing the LOS.
- Might lean toward the run-blocking end of the spectrum, yet he has a couple of promising pass-blocking sets on tape. Would love to see more. An absorber when in pass-pro.
- t
- 6’5, 265
- 81-inch WS
- 3.4 GPA and a 4-sport athlete.
- Has single game cuts up from weeks 1-4.
- like his pass-pro sets, is more of a “get depth and punch” type of pass protector, does a good job of getting depth throughout his kickback, big plus.
- right tackle reps so he’s going to need to move and locate on the go when pulling behind LGs or getting out in front of screens, good mover which makes sense, Maines is a bit on the leaner side of the lineman spectrum.
- upper body strength > Lower, yet plenty of leg drive to couple with his powerful arms
- little bit of attitude when he finishes blocks which is always a plus.
- Would love to see how he gets out of his stance in person.
- t
- watchlist prospect who has some exciting tape on Hudl now.
- junior out of Red Lion
- 6’6, 290, 3.8 GPA, will be ranked in the future.
- most massive prospect on this list, and that’s saying something.
- Solid lower body strength, I think Tanner could make strides in the weight room, he should be tossing some of the smaller competition in his path. Solid finisher at times on tape though, pancakes registered.
- asked to down-block often from his RT position.
- Pass-pro reps are positive, would like to see him matched up against better comp, that’s not to his fault.
- rep at 1:20 mark might be best, gets his hands in and steers a kid into the turf. First time seeing a bit fo a mean streak.
- tape gets much better as it progresses, a bit more violence, a bit more drive in his legs.
- Tough ask to get Tanner’s 300-pound frame out of his stance and pull, he does so, but it takes time as you can imagine.
- Tanner has room to grow outside of physical attributes, he’s an exciting one.
