Countless numbers of Tennessee and Kentucky Future Stars have gone on to big time college careers at major programs and some have gone even further. This event is certainly a special one and is a staple in my summer traveels. The evaluators and coaching staff that put together the Tennessee Future Stars do a great job of balancing skill sets and showcasing what the future of football will look like. Here’s a look at the Quarterbacks on this year’s eighth grade (class of 2027) Tennessee Future Stars.
Has all the makings of a future Division 1 Quarterback at this point, listed on the roster as 6-foot-4 and 160 pounds. At that size, it should come as no surprise he’s also a standout on the basketball court. Was the MVP of Tennessee Future Stars seventh-grade team a year ago and is back for more. In my opinion, the alpha male here.
The Volunteer State will feature another returner at the Quarterback position, in Cayden Creech Cayden Creech 6’1″ | 175 lbs | QB University School Of Jackson | 2027 TN . Listed at 6-foot and 165 pounds on the roster this year. The righty has a really strong arm and can spin it anywhere he needs to on the field. Creech was an East Tennessee Middle School All-Star this year and will be at the University School of Jackson in the fall.

I will openly admit that I don’t know too much about Crews Jenkins as of this writing. At 5-foot-10 and 155 pounds his size translates well to being an overall athletic kid. Couple that with the fact that he played basketball and football at Montgomery Bell Academy (MBA) and that begins to paint a picture of what kind of prospect he could be. I’m excited to see more.
