The Prep Redzone Prospect Tour came through Oklahoma on Sunday afternoon and top talent from the state came out and showed out throughout the three hours in Oklahoma. It started with combine testing and then went into individual drills, followed by 1 on 1 competitions to wrap up the camp. And throughout the week, we’ll be putting a spotlight on some of the top performers at each position from Sunday’s camp. In case you missed it, we announced the MVP winners for each position following the camp and we had a break down on each player. You can check that out RIGHT HERE. In this post, we’re putting a spotlight on the quarterbacks. While Titan Hix Titan Hix 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Locust Grove | 2026 State OK ran away with the MVP award, we also saw a few quarterbacks that could absolutely sling it. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma throughout the week for more positional breakdowns!
Class A was on full display at the quarterback position as three of the four standouts on this breakdown all come from Class A programs. The first is Cashion 2026 quarterback Ethan Waswo Ethan Waswo 6’2″ | 190 lbs | QB Cashion | 2026 State OK as he impressed in his second trip to the Prep Redzone camp series this year. He first camped with us back in January and he really stood out to us this time around. Now, when it comes to Cashion, we typically buy whoever is playing quarterback because that’s a program that routinely has one of the better producing quarterbacks in the state. And there’s reasons to be excited with Waswo. He wants to put the work in and compete every time he goes out there. We liked his attention to detail and his ability to receive coaching and then make those small adjustments on the next rep, time after time. Waswo is certainly a name that we’re going to keep an eye on as Cashion attempts to make it back to the mountain top in Class A after back to back titles in 2020 and 2021.
Colcord might have been one of the surprise teams in 2022 but we really like them to contend for the gold ball this fall with all the talent they have returning. 2024 quarterback Gabe Winfield Gabe Winfield 6’0″ | 180 lbs | ATH Colcord | 2024 State OK wasn’t the only Colcord standout to impress us on Sunday. Defensive lineman Khaleeal Penn Khaleeal Penn 6’2″ | 305 lbs | DL Colcord | 2025 State OK and linebacker Cade Linn shined bright as well at their respective positions. Winfield put up some monster numbers last season as he threw for over 2,000 yards and ran for over 1,000 yards. He tossed over 30 touchdowns and ran for 20+ more scores. So he’s going to go into this fall as one of the top offensive weapons in Class A. Winfield really stood out to me when the quarterbacks started throwing on the run to either side of the field. And that makes sense considering how much he was on the move last season. After seeing all the production Winfield had last season, it was really beneficial to see the small school standout in person. He’s definitely a 2024 prospect to remember moving forward.
Highlights
Collinsville 2026 quarterback Skyler Moorman Skyler Moorman 6’2″ | 185 lbs | QB Collinsville | 2026 State OK is the only non-Class A quarterback on this breakdown and we’re really looking forward to seeing more of him moving forward. The future is bright for Moorman, who had one of the strongest arms of all the quarterback prospects in attendance on Sunday. We were told about Moorman prior to watching him throw the ball and the word “unorthodox” came up with his throwing style and after watching him spin it a few times, we could see just that from his arm angles but that didn’t stop him from the ball absolutely leaping out of his hand. Moorman will be in the mix to take over the Collinsville offense moving forward. Similar to Waswo and Cashion, Moorman is looking to help lead Collinsville back to the top of Class 5A after winning the gold ball in 2021 and taking a step back last fall. Moorman is another quarterback who camped with us twice this year and really grew from his first appearance.
2025 quarterback Trey Bennett Trey Bennett 6’3″ | 195 lbs | QB Woodland | 2025 State OK appears to be the replacement for Aidan Rhodes Aidan Rhodes 6’3″ | 175 lbs | ATH Woodland | 2023 State OK , who was incredibly productive over the last few seasons at Woodland. This was our first chance to see Bennett in person and there’s a few reasons to believe that the Woodland offense won’t suffer any kind of drop off with a new quarterback behind center. First off, Bennett immediately passed the eye test. He was right there with the QB MVP in terms of height and he looks incredibly long. Bennett was also right there with Hix for the MVP race after impressing his position coaches and during the 1 on 1 session. Rhodes was without a doubt a big dual-threat option at the quarterback position. And while we didn’t get to see Bennett showcase his full tool bag in terms of mobility, he definitely has an arm and can put the ball into some pretty tight windows. We think that Woodland will be right back in the mix this season with one of the better offenses in Class A.
