Covering the LL Berks league these past couple of seasons Watson was already on our radar for his play on the field, his work at the showcase only helped him. Testing really well this past Saturday is going to go a long way for this class of 2025 stud. Already a top ranked prospect playing for the Northern Lebanon Vikings, Watson caught a number of coaches attention with his performance.
This young man was flying with both the defensive backs and the receivers. A class of 2026 future star Brown was very impressive particular in the one on one drills were as mentioned before the defensive backs were outnumbered mightily by the receivers. Like the rest of the db group Brown refused to back down and also rotated in with the receivers to show how he will be successful on both sides of the football this fall.
One of the fastest linebackers in attendance was this class of 2025 standout. Leuthe ran one of the faster times in the 40 not only for his position group, but the entire camp! Watching him live I can understand why my colleagues were very high on him, this kid can play. A two sport start in football and track for Pennridge, you can clearly see how he transitions his track speed onto the football field.
Highlights
There is a lot to like about this 2026 prospect and he showed you why this past weekend. Testing and measurables aside, really thought he held up well during the 1 on 1 drills, especially considering the level of competition he was going up against. Emberger demonstrated impressive hip and footwork covering the running backs, if you are an Archbishop Wood fan, he gives you big time reason to be excited about their future.
Layhue was right on my border for the top 5 but nonetheless he had himself a nice afternoon. His testing and measurable results will be posted in the next couple of days and you will see what I am talking about. This 6’4 athlete is very nimble on his feet and he demonstrated that during several different drills. I can see why all the PSAC coaches who were in attendance were interested, this young man came to play.
