Every top college program across the country is in pursuit of this Chattanooga area wideout who could play both football and baseball on the next level. A stud on the baseball diamond, Jefferson has developed into not only one of the top receiver prospects in the Southern Region but maybe also the entire country as well. The Red Raiders senior pass catcher is a big bodied guy that runs very well, so he is a problem for opposing defense’s due to his size, physicality and speed. Jefferson can take a short pass and turn into a big gain very quickly. As the year moves forward, I do not foresee anybody taking this #1 spot away from Jefferson as this receiver is one of the best overall prospects from out #TN2024 class.
Recently committing to Wake Forest, Barrett is an athletic target that brings a lot of versatile traits to the football field that will work well within the Demons Deacons offensive system. Elusive and quick with the ability to make one cut and be gone, Barrett works very well in the slot where he can use his speed and active feet to work past defenders and get into the open field but this East Tennessee product is talented enough to work outside as well. This is a dynamic prospect that sports the athletic abilities and speed that can be utilized in a variety of ways on offense and possibly turn into an All-Conference talent during his time at Wake Forest.

Having to wait his turn last year as a junior, Lorick is due for a big breakout senior year and everything is tracking towards that happening as this Mid-Tennessee talent has been picking up major steam on the recruiting trail as of late. While Lorick did have to play a backup role last year, he was still able to put up some solid numbers while putting together outstanding film. This guy is a burner that can take a short gain and turn it into a homerun instantly but he also brings good size to his position that will continue to develop further on the next level. The Mustangs senior wideout has already landed ten plus offers with many, many others interested, so you will continue to see Lorick’s stock rise over the summer and why he is ranked as the 3rd best receiver from the #TN2024 class.

A dynamic pass catcher with the ability to find the end zone easily, Heyward is the perfect slot option for the college ranks based on his size, quick feet and ability to get vertical. Coming in ranked as the 4th best current receiver in the #TN2024 class, Heyward has been a highly recruited prospect for almost two years now with multiple Power Five schools hot on his trail and many others in pursuit. His stock has been high for some time due to his natural athletic abilities and knack for making the big play look easy. The Wildcats senior wideout has more development to go but his athletic skills and traits will allow him to compete early in college for a role as a true freshman.
Big and physical with natural athleticism, Winton, Jr is a big bodied guy that fits the outside receiver role perfectly and the South Florida Bulls should know exactly what to do with this East Tennessee wideout. Committing recently to USF, Winton, Jr is a power forward style pass catcher that can body up a defensive back and out physical him to the ball. He sports strong hands along with good speed and the ability to use his strong vertical in the red zone to come down with the catch. Moving up to Alcoa for his senior year, Winton, Jr should see a lot of balls thrown his way this Fall with Cody Pagach Cody Pagach 6’3″ | 190 lbs | QB Alcoa | 2024 State TN at the helm, which in turn could boost this guy’s stock further, forcing some Power Five schools to take a longer look.
One of the best athletes from the receiver position in the #TN2024 class, Reed is a dynamic playmaker that is a big play threat anytime the ball touches his hands while providing tons of versatility on offense that can be utilized in multiple ways. Ranking 6th among the receivers, Reed is a multi talented wideout that brings athleticism, explosive movements, good route running and speed to the football field that translates well to the next level and college coaches have begun to take notice. What they are discovering is a guy who’s best football is ahead of him as Reed is still filling out his body while continuing to learn the game, so his future in college looks very bright. This Mid-Tennessee prospect might end up being a steal for whoever signs him as well as someone that takes his game past the college gridiron.

One of the hottest receiver prospects on the recruiting trail for the past two months, Orr is an ultra talented prospect with size, long speed and the athletic abilities to develop into a dangerous threat inside the red zone. Ranked 7th among our senior wideouts, Orr is a long term upside prospect as more work must be done with his body and overall skill set but the potential is large and college coaches recognize it. This is a tough guy to guard on the outside as Orr does a good job at using his body to gain leverage on a defender then use his speed to dart past him. The Highlanders wideout is a deep threat that does well at contested catches but can also catch a small gain and turn it into a possible touchdown. Power Five schools are starting to get involved with Orr, so expect to see his recruitment continue to flourish over the coming months.

Be on the lookout for this Nashville area receiver as Becker is picking up major steam on the recruiting trail and that could boost his current #PRZTN ranking into the Top 50 overall and possibly higher. Overall these offseason months, Becker has been putting in some serious work developing his craft, adding in more speed while crisping up his routes. This Fighting Irish offensive talent has great size (well built with a wide frame) along with strong hands and the ability to run the route tree. Several Power Five programs have been showing interest in Becker over the past few months and with college coaches on the road right now, expect to see this Mid-Tennessee product add some big offers over the coming weeks.

This guy’s recruitment has yet to take off and that’s surprising as Jones is one of the most athletic, fastest wideouts we have at the receiver position and someone who’s best football may be ahead of him. When you look over his film, the first thing you notice about Jones is his ability to catch the ball then immediately get up field with his outstanding speed. The Tigers senior playmaker is a big play threat waiting to happen and is hard to catch up with once he breaks into the open field. Jones also has the skill set to work outside or slide into the slot, using his athleticism and speed as a mismatch issue for opposing defenders. The offers may not be there right now but I feel they will be in time, especially after a strong showing during camp season this summer.

Big and powerful with good speed, Ward is a mismatch problem for smaller defenders who can both work the outside or move in and dominate the slot. This Memphis area product brings a nice combination of physicality and athletic abilities to his position along with the ability to be dangerous within the red zone. Ward’s size can be a problem for safeties, nickelbacks or smaller corners, especially close to the end zone where the Bulldogs wideout can box out defenders and use his vert and strong hands to bring down the catch. More work needs to be done with his agility and learning the route tree but you can’t teach size and natural pass catching abilities and Ward is that kind of target.
