Dillon Lorick Dillon Lorick 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Lipscomb Academy | 2024 State TN displays good athletic ability at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds out of Lipscomb Academy and he can win at the outside wide receiver position in a multitude of ways. Good footwork to get in and out of breaks and he shows good hip sink while in transition. Lorick showcases great instincts after the catch with fluid hips to make him elusive out in space. Good on a vertical plane, he shows good long speed and tracking down the field. Runs routes with a purpose, Lorick shows a good understanding of how to attack leverage. At the catch point, his body control and in air athleticism stands out on inaccurate throws.

Having to wait his turn last year as a junior, Lorick is due for a big breakout senior year and everything is tracking towards that happening as this Mid-Tennessee talent has been picking up major steam on the recruiting trail as of late. While Lorick did have to play a backup role last year, he was still able to put up some solid numbers while putting together outstanding film. This guy is a burner that can take a short gain and turn it into a homerun instantly but he also brings good size to his position that will continue to develop further on the next level. The Mustangs senior wideout has already landed ten plus offers with many, many others interested, so you will continue to see Lorick’s stock rise over the summer and why he is ranked as the 3rd best receiver from the #TN2024 class.

Taking a secondary role last year as a junior, Lorick still put forth strong tape, which has now placed him among not only the top wideouts in the Mid-Tennessee region but the entire state as well. Tall and long with excellent feet, Lorick is a big play threat waiting to happen that has sparked the interest of several collegiate coaches across the country thus far. Holding offers from Arkansas St., Austin Peay, Eastern Ky, Eastern Michigan, Howard, UT-Martin, Western Ky and Western Michigan, expect the Power Five programs to get involved soon because Lorick is too talented with too much upside to look past much further.
