Coming back to Tennessee for his senior season, Winton, Jr certainly made the most of it by becoming his team’s leading receiver, earning a place among the 3A finalists for Mr. Football while also boosting his stock to the 3rd overall ranked receiver in the #TN2024 class. The Tornadoes senior pass catcher had a stellar senior year where he showed increased ball skills along with added speed that made him a problem for defensive backs to deal with. Winton, Jr made his money this year as a deep threat that consistently made tough catches down field while also using his speed to turn short gains into long touchdowns. His game really took a major step up this year to where I thought bigger schools might come calling but Winton, Jr appears set with South Florida and his future in Tampa. It’s a strong get for the Bulls as this East TN talent has the upside to develop into a starting, All-Conference player during his college career.

The best overall athlete on the field Friday morning, Winton established himself early as a go-to target and someone the East Nashville secondary couldn’t keep up with. His numbers for the entire game may not be large but his impact on the outside with his athleticism and speed made it open up for others on offense and helped the Tornadoes score at will. Headed to South Florida next season for his college ball, Winton, Jr stepped up his play big time throughout the playoff season, producing several big games while displaying grown man type plays that tells me this East Tennessee talent could excel and shine on the collegiate level. His play this postseason also boosted his #PRZTN stock as Winton, Jr moved up to the 3rd overall wideout in the state and 21st overall.

Brandon Winton Jr made the biggest play of the game for Alcoa High School when he caught a 30 plus yard touchdown to take the lead 21-14. He showed amazing tracking ability down the field with great in air athletic ability to make the catch on the vertical ball. Good in contested situations, his body control and concentration standout immediately on film.

Big and physical with natural athleticism, Winton, Jr is a big bodied guy that fits the outside receiver role perfectly and the South Florida Bulls should know exactly what to do with this East Tennessee wideout. Committing recently to USF, Winton, Jr is a power forward style pass catcher that can body up a defensive back and out physical him to the ball. He sports strong hands along with good speed and the ability to use his strong vertical in the red zone to come down with the catch. Moving up to Alcoa for his senior year, Winton, Jr should see a lot of balls thrown his way this Fall with
