An unprecedented year out of Peter Bourque Peter Bourque 6’4″ | 195 lbs | QB Tabor Academy | 2027 New E , who stands far and away as the best quarterback prospect in his class. Hip torque, combined with an already refined throwing motion has Bourque ready to fire rockets into tight windows all over the field. Tight seam-benders, small windows on corner routes, enough zip to hit kids outside the numbers before safeties can think about rotating over. Accuracy doesn’t falter with pressure, great build that can absorb hits in the pocket. Clean, comfortable feet in the pocket. Can tweak arm angles to throw into necessary passing lane when needed. I hear great things about his mental makeup, means a lot that he was able to lead this team to a state title this early on in his career. Huge fan of Bourque.
Highlights
Here’s a special prospect who lands at the three spot, more of a projection of where he might be in the future. Real arm talent, not the biggest kid yet he can flick the ball downfield like an upperclassmen. Can mix up throwing tempo, an advanced trait at this stage and level, seen putting touch and air on balls, also seen delivering dots and strikes when needed. Like his ability to read and throw an accurate ball when rolling out. Would rival Peter Bourque Peter Bourque 6’4″ | 195 lbs | QB Tabor Academy | 2027 New E in rank and status if he was just a tad bit taller. Plenty of time to grow into his pads. Excited to see him continue to develop and trend the right way.
Highlights
Two-sport athlete, 11 freshman games under his belt. Was given real consideration to be ranked at two, has the production to back that notion. 2,400+ yards, 31 scores, 360+ rushing yards, and two scores on the ground, Osiris rivals Damon Taylor in production and has every case to be the quarterback behind Bourque. A little flare and creativity to his game, Osiris Lopez Osiris Lopez 6’1″ | 175 lbs | QB Leominster | 2026 State New E can get the job done when things don’t go as planned. Escapability in the pocket is a huge plus, an aware prospect who is only going to develop a better feel for the pocket moving forward. A playmaker behind center, Lopez looks even better when he stands tall in the pocket and reads the defense. Lopez shines in and out of the pocket, both when the play breaks down or when it stays clean.

Had the chance to see Gilbert Kimrin Gilbert Kimrin 6’5″ | 190 lbs | QB The Taft School | 2026 State New E and some of his teammates throw on air for half an hour this past Monday. Loved what I saw for the most part, yet I’ll leave my notes on that day for a separate post. Kimirn lands as a top-five quarterback prospect, narrowly beating out McNeill and Gebhard who can make their own case to be above Kimrin. The 6’4, 185-pound passer has been talked about on the site several times. Kimrin still has so much to learn, he’s a high-ceiling, high-floor type of prospect. What you see now is already a step above his peers, if he never develops or advances, he still a grade above many in his area. That doesn’t mean the young passer doesn’t have plenty of room to grow, he’s going to have to continue progressing if he wants to keep this rank. I imagine he will.

This kid has every chance to be the best QB in his class, the only QB on this list that could rival Bourque, that’s a huge compliment, especially considering McNeill only has four games of tape under his belt. The young man would rank a bit higher with full tape, likely over Damon Taylor, yet we cannot deny Taylor, Kimrin, and Lopez’s production. Works in an open/gun system at Milton Academy, McNeill boasts a fabulous 6’3, 190-pound frame that is only going to help him improve as a passer moving forward. The kid can still move his launch point and maneuver out of the pocket to find passing windows to throw into downfield. There’s a lot of magic in his tape, I’m looking forward to things slowing down for the young man. I want to see throws in rhythm, timing throws that value mental processing. The flare and improvisational skills are great, yet I’m excited to see him buckle down and watch the game slow down for him. Could have a special prospect on our hands.

I’m a huge fan of King Phillips’ Tommy McLeish Tommy McLeish 6’4″ | 195 lbs | QB King Philip Regional | 2024 State New E , I almost feel obligated to sing Zachary Gebhard Zachary Gebhard 6’3″ | 170 lbs | QB King Philip Regional | 2026 State New E ‘s praises by association. 6’3 freshman passer, weighing in at 170 pounds. KPRHS should be ready to reload at QB as soon as McLeish moves on to the collegiate level. Tape begins with reps under center, in tight, multi-TE sets. Play-action comfortable passer who is a bit nimble on his feet. Easily stands tall in the pocket, tip toe release and high angle makes throwing over linemen easy. Calm, confident in the pocket, locates his read early in his progression, lets the ball rip accurately. Just a clean prospect that doesn’t get too high or too low. I’ll keep an eye out for this kid, could be a while before we see him take the field, great potential nonetheless.
A very late edition to the rankings, could place a bit higher if I didn’t catch his limited tape just an hour before publishing rankings. 12 total scores for the La Salle Academy freshman, just two interceptions to his name in 60+ attempts. Grey Iannitti Grey Iannitti 5’11” | 200 lbs | QB La Salle Academy | 2026 State New E is a sleeper among this group, a young man who will likely produce so well, he’ll force himself into conversations about the best 2026 quarterback in his class. Consistently on the move, whether that be planned or improvised, Iannitti thrives on his ability to escape the pocket. The freshman does a great job keeping his eyes downfield, locating and opening passing lanes for his targets, all the while delivering a catchable ball to his guys. Thick build that can move, it might catch potential tacklers off-guard. A threat to tuck and run when in read-option sets, easy chain-mover. Can hit corners and fades to the pylon with touch. I wouldn’t discard this kid simply because he isn’t 6’3, 200 pounds. I’ll have my eye on him moving forward.
