Continue ReadingThe 3rd Annual AAU NOS_Elite 7v7 Tournament was held this past weekend. Each year, the event slowly attracts many rising young prospects around the New England region. This year was no exception. Many returning top-ranked prospects performed in the event, and New Prospects worthy of being ranked were identified. In this report, I will preview five prospects who stood out on Day 1. Two are ranked within their respective classes and three are new prospects.
c/o 26 | WR/CB Doherty Memorial HS | 6’2 | #774-502-7138
Ryan Dennis is a WR/DB who stands 6’1″ and weighs 160 lbs. His speed caught my attention on the day. He has an athletic frame with good lean muscle. He moves really well and has a motor. He has outstanding catching ability and the ability to separate himself from defenders with his speed. He is a new-name prospect who was not known to me prior to this event. His fall season fill confirms him as a prospect we should rank during our next rankings update in July and August.
I spoke with him during the event about his current recruitment activity. (See Youtube video Below)

Not much more can be said about Lora’s skills that haven’t already been reported. He stood out amongst all prospects, and I identified him as one of the Top players in the event. This is a big deal considering he is only a class of 2027 prospect. Everything comes easy for him on the gridiron. I haven’t seen him perform since Fall 2023 during a live-action game. He has gained a few pounds and looks to be filling out in bone density. He stands approximately 5’10”, 150lbs, and can move fluidly. His burst at the line of scrimmage into his route can be seen, and it pops. Not many can handle his ability to flip his hips in either direction while jab-stepping in and out of breaks. Has impressive body control and balance. I’m projecting he could see a few offers from local schools come across this spring.
“Lora” is ranked as the early # 3 WR in the class of 2027 in New England. I spoke with him during the event about his current recruitment activity. (See Youtube video Below)

Pelaez is a rising junior next year in fall 2023. He is a high-level defender who can surely cover. His physical presence caught my attention during the event. This is uncommon at a 7v7 event. I viewed him several times lock down a WR at the snap of the ball only to see the same WR be denied his route and sometimes fall to the ground. I asked him where he learned his technique. He told me he has studied Professional defensive backs such as Jalen Ramsey, and he commits to watching film on defensive backs consistently. A self taught DB is who enjoys watching film to get better is what you get with him. Then throw in his impressive athletic abilities such as the ability to flip hips and gets in and out of breaks. Rarely takes false steps. Good instincts. Flashes ability to come up in the alley to support in the run game and against screens. Good feet. Very good speed and a pit bull mentality when on the field.
Yandel is a new-name prospect not known to me prior to the event. His fall season fill is being edited during this publication and is not readily available. After his performance in the tournament, I believe once I view his fall 2023 highlight film, I will confirm him as a prospect we should rank during our next rankings update in July and August. I spoke with him during the event about his current recruitment activity. (See Youtube video Below)
class of 2025/6”3/ 190lbs/ QB/40: 4.73/ 3.77 GPA/514-605-4403/Thayer academy Massachusetts NCAA ID# 2203484556
He just attended and performed at the Prep Redzone 7v7 Tournament in Pennsylvania, where he opened scouts eyes. He is a hardworking Quarterback who takes the leadership role seriously and will put in the work needed to become great. I observed a few receivers complaining of the power in his throws and jokingly asked him to let up a little. He is a fast-processing QB who will go through his progressions each rep and flawlessy locate that open target. He displays the ability to throw the Deep Out, Comeback, Dig, and Seam Route with minimal loft. He has the ability to throw receivers open and execute the back shoulder throw.
Dugas is ranked as the # 10 QB in New England in the class of 2025. I spoke with him during the event about his current recruitment activity. (See Youtube video Below)

Will Porter stands 6’0 180lbs. I was attracted to his skill set after I observed his speed on a deep ball he chased. He has a 2nd gear when running vertically. He catches away from his body and will high-top the ball when needed. He appeared to be a bit tight in the hamstrings. Has good length in his arms and legs. He fights for the ball when its in the air. His fall season fill confirms him as a prospect we should rank during our next rankings update in July and August.
