The Colorado Prospect Tour kicks off tomorrow, which happens to be during the third day of the NFL Draft. Watching former high school standouts achieve the ultimate dream for many players can inspire current prep athletes to continue developing their craft in hopes of landing a college scholarship and the opportunity to continue playing the sport.

One of the more rewarding aspects of being a scout writer is recognizing top-tier talent during the earlier stages and watching as they progress through their journey. After a quick glimpse of the registered attendees for Saturday's event, a few names immediately stood out as players to be excited to see.

[player_tooltip player_id='143625' first='Ryken' last='Daugaard'] (2024) from Lutheran is no stranger to Prep Redzone events. Daugaard completed his impressive junior season as a 3A state runner-up and will be entering his senior campaign with the expectation of returning to the final.

[player_tooltip player_id='251319' first='CT' last='Worley'] (2025) from Broomfield is arguably the more anticipated quarterback prospect heading into the fall. Even though he had to bide his time behind a current Wisconsin Badger, Worley has recently garnered attention from some of the more prominent programs in the country. Worley's junior season will lay the foundation for his future as a recruit, making him an attendee with one of the brightest spotlights.

The third big name on the list is Cherry Creek's [player_tooltip player_id='212239' first='Brady' last='Vodicka'] (2026), whose high school debut season ended with a ring. He was part of an early rotation featuring two additional quarterbacks before earning the starting tag for most of the season. Vodicka started to build his reputation during his junior high days and has become one of the more anticipated young players in the state.

One of the more familiar names on the list is [player_tooltip player_id='276508' first='James' last='Basinger'] (2025) from Columbine. Basinger is an elite running back who brings the same formidable playing style to the defensive side of the ball as a member of the secondary. Basinger is a two-time MVP from the previous Prep Redzone events in Colorado who will enter this event with the potential of landing a hat trick.

[player_tooltip player_id='317906' first='Jack' last='Offerdahl'] (2026) from Dakota Ridge is a do-all athlete with one of the highest ceilings in the class. Getting eyes on one of the freshmen with high expectations is a must, especially during the combine testing. [player_tooltip player_id='283701' first='Ja'pree' last='Jennings'] (2026) from Mountain Vista is an explosive route runner who made a name for himself during his time with a nationally recognized youth team during his junior high days. His freshman season provided a glimpse into what he offers to an offense, making Jennings a player to watch during the event.

Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='376589' first='Luciano' last='Tafoya'] (2024) and wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='805010' first='Jackson' last='Archambault'] (2024) are two names that also stood out on the list. Tafoya is a player from ThunderRidge who popped up on the radar at a camp last summer by showcasing an impressive set of fundamentals and intangibles. Archambault is a two-way athlete from Summit who has the makings of a legitimate sleeper. He has set a significantly high bar for himself so far, making him a player to be excited about seeing in person.
