Who Impressed Me at the Colorado Stock Up Showcase

There were so many prospects who impressed me during our bi-annual Stock Up Showcase. I selected a handful of players who caught my eye during the combine, and set themselves apart from the rest.    HT: 5'11 WT: 160.8 Wingspan: 72” Hand Size: 9” 40 YD: 4.52 L-Drill: 6.79 Broad Jump: 8ft 10 in Pro Shuttle: 4.38   [player_tooltip player_id='689789' first='Hudson' last='Rau'] has been a consistent attendant at our combines, and has shown growth from each one. Rau had the 2nd fastest 40 yard time, 11th in the nation, 4th in the class of 2027. He was 3rd in L-drill time at the event, 11th in the nation, and 3rd in his class. Rau is a dawg. He has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good speed, change of direction, and good jumping. During the 1 on 1s, he knocked it out of the park. He showed his very good release with paired with very good separation quickness. He had fluid route running and quick breaks into his steam. Very good catching and ball tracking. Good adjustment and body control. Rau is a great prospect. He's coachable and has continued to show growth each season. Recruit him.     HT: 6'0 WT: 170.6 Wingspan: 73” Hand Size: 8.5” 40 YD: 4.67 L-Drill: 7.44 Broad Jump: 8ft 8in Pro Shuttle: 4.40   Basham might've fallen under your radar, however he continues to demand attention. He was 9th overall at the event in 40 yard times, and 22nd nationally, and 25th at the pro shuttle. Basham has good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, acceleration, good jumping, and speed. Good release against both off coverage and press jam. Basham has quick cuts into his stem, and fluid route running. He doesn't need a lot of space to make the catch. Very good ball tracking and catching skills. Very good adjustment and good body control. I was impressed by him during all of the drills, and he deserves more attention than he currently has.     HT: 6'3 WT: 216 Wingspan: 76” Hand Size: 9” 40 YD: 5.18 L-Drill: 7.60 Broad Jump: 8ft 7in Pro Shuttle: 4.83   Dean made the trip from Bridgeport, Nebraska, and didn't disappoint. Dean shined during the individual drills and 1 on 1's against the offensive linemen. Dean has very good strength. He's explosive out of his stance and has very good initial quickness to engage the OL. Very good bend. Very good hand placement and hand strength. Very good block shedding and get off speed. Dean has a very good swim move, and bull rush. One thing about Dean is his relentless pursuit. He doesn't stop until the play is finished. I'm very impressed by this defensive end, and colleges should be as well.     HT: 6'6 WT: 282.4 Wingspan: 82” Hand Size: 8.75” 40 YD: 5.90 L-Drill: 8.60 Broad Jump: 7ft 7 in Pro Shuttle: 5.32   Noyes has shown a lot of growth this past season. He was a CO-MVP with [player_tooltip player_id='983147' first='Brice' last='Boulton'] and with good reason. He has very good strength paired with good balance, knee bend, and flexibility. Good foot quickness. Good initial quickness out of his stance. Very good hand placement and hand strength. Noyes maintains a good anchor. He has quick hands to swat the defensive line's and create more time in the block. I'm looking forward to seeing how Noyes does in the off-season. He has a lot of potential, and I believe he is starting to tap into it even more !     [player_tooltip player_id='1313694' first='Ezra' last='Batjargal']   HT: 6'0 WT: 205 Wingspan: 73” Hand Size: 8.5” 40 YD: 4.96 L-Drill: 7.43 Broad Jump: 8ft 9 in Pro Shuttle: 4.30   Ezra is the CO-MVP of defensive linemen. Batjargal was 16th for Pro Shuttle during the event, and 4th overall in his class. He was also 23rd in the event in broad jumping. One thing I always preach are measureables aren't everything. Batjargal proved that point by dominating during the individual drills and 1 on 1 matchups. He has very good initial quickness and very good get off speed. Showed his very good block shedding ability. Batjargal has a very good bend around the edge paired with a very good bull rush, swim move, and spin move. Batjargal has very good mental processing as well. One thing about Ezra is he has very good coachability. He listens to his coaches and implements their wisdom. He really impressed Coach Tim Deater (Liam Deater's dad) and made a big impression during the event to me as well. Great edge rusher who would contribute on any FCS to FBS team.
