It's a quality group of quarterbacks in the 2024 recruiting cycle, headlined by St. Joes Prep's [player_tooltip player_id='164520' first='Samaj' last='Jones'] who is down to Oklahoma, Penn State, Cincinnati, and West Virginia. Steelton-Highspire's [player_tooltip player_id='64022' first='Alex' last='Erby'] is also drawing Power Five interest while Gateway's [player_tooltip player_id='64000' first='Brad' last='Birch'] has arguably the best arm in the entire state.

That being said, there are quite a few Pennsylvania quarterbacks who are deserving of some more attention and could possibly open your eyes in a camp setting.

He's our best built quarterback by far and has a great physical toolset. A big 6-foot-5 frame, a strong and effortless arm. He does have the ability to extend plays with his legs but projects best to a pro-style quarterback. His accuracy can improve going forward but overall is solid.rnrnWith the right system and some patience, Wharton has great potential at the next level. He's a dynamic dual-threat quarterback who can make plays both through the air and on the ground. Great build at 6-foot-4 and could project well in a multitude of systems. Has multiple FBS and FCS offers - that list should continue to grow this summer. Would not rule out Power Five programs getting involved either. Great quarterback flying under the radar as we head into camp season.rnrnu003ca href=u0022https://www.hudl.com/profile/15013414/Julian-Duggeru0022u003eu003cstrongu003eHUDLu003c/strongu003eu003c/au003e","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["386275"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Henicle has a nice 6-foot-2 frame to go along with a reported 4.5 forty-yard dash. Accurate quarterback, completing 64% of his passes this past season, strong arm, willingness to say in the pocket with pressure stands out. Great vision when it comes to RPOs and the decision making to go with it - uses that vision well to see down field as well to find open targets. Receiving FCS offers but wouldn't rule out FBS interest as this year progresses.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["285527"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Not as big as our other quarterbacks but still very good size at just about 6-foot-0, 6-foot-1. Very good dual threat quarterback who has shown a history of extending players and making plays with his feet. Accurate arm with good arm strength as well. Projects very well to the FCS level.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["238310"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Someone that fellow PRZPA scout [player_tooltip player_id='1539423' first='Pat' last='Weider'] recently covered in February. I agree with Pat's assessment. A very good dual threat quarterback that fits an RPO offense very well, good, accurate arm, can throw the ball on the run at a quality level as well. The only thing that has probably held him back from being a bigger prospect, is no pun intended, is his size. But in today's game where we've seen smaller quarterbacks succeed more and more, that shouldn't be a deterrent.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-64387d053c92f"} /-->
