[player_tooltip player_id='1022163' first='Xavier' last='Smith'] is one of the next great players to watch coming out of New Jersey. With deep arm strength and elite speed, he is going to be a very sought after QB. As a freshman for Newark Eastside, Xavier showed flashes of excellence. What stood out to me the most is his ability to pass on the run. You'll even see find him shedding tackles while he simultaneously keeps his eyes down field to keep the play alive. Throwing for 1125 yard and 14 touchdowns, Xavier's passing game was complemented by his elusive run capabilities. Rushing for 374 yards and 4 touchdowns, Xavier is an all around explosive athlete with D1 talent if he continues on this trajectory.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-64493c50158a3"} /-->

Standing at 5'11u0022, Jordan may be gaining a reputation as a runner you don't want to go up against. With the ability to not only truck defenders and throw them off of him, he is also very slippery as a ball carrier and can break away from the pile for a big gain.rnrnJordan was also able to demonstrate his pass catching ability this past fall. Even though he only caught a few passes in 2022, I foresee Dwight-Morrow opening up the playbook to find more ways to get the ball into his hands. Jordan is a very reliable player that every coach would hope to have in their backfield. I look forward to seeing him take on a larger role in 2023.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-64493c50159b6"} /-->

On defense, Bryan was able to attack the line aggressively as his quickness allowed him to get to the QB moments after the ball was snapped.
