He stands 6'4 and weighs 215 with room to fill out. He is fast, athletic, and really explosive. He plays OLB at a really high level for his age. He is one of the best defensive players on the field in every game. His stats this season reflect game changing ability. He reads plays well and puts his body in correct positions to destruct blocks. He is strong and sheds easily. He hammers ball carriers on run to and is quick over the top on ball away. He sets a hard edge and keeps the outside arm free. He blitzes with a relentless nature and gets to the QB in the pass game. He settles well on run blitz and takes on the blocks with proper leverage. His pass drops are intimidating due to his size. He is athletic with a rocket for an arm. He played Varsity this season and made some ridiculous throws and plays. He puts good touch on the ball and has advanced throwing mechanics. His deep ball is accurate and he can fit it into tight windows on short/intermediate routes. His footwork and lower body mechanics are developing and will continue to grow. He can make high level throws from the pocket in addition to sprint out, bootleg, and scrambling. When he decides to run his athleticism takes over. He has great twitch and wiggle. He is very strong: 315 Bench, 435 Squat. He plays at a high level in arguably one of the best conferences in America. He started at Will LB for all 14 games this past season. He is big and physical with the eye discipline and patience to be a big time college football player. He moves well inside the box and always finds the open space before attacking. He maintains his gaps and assignments well. He is fast enough to leverage the ball correctly on outside run. He drops quickly into coverage and keeps his eyes on the QB and the routes presented. He has good ball skills and timing. I really like his blitz aggression and recognition. He finds the open gap and bursts through it. He is a finisher and makes plays in the backfield. I feel the sky is the limit for Micah, especially with his 3.9 GPA. He has offers on the table from the SEC and currently ranks as a 3 star athlete. He is 6'7, weighs 225, and carries a 4.4 GPA. He is an intelligent player and aligns in a variety of spots on offense. He plays on the LOS, in a hip, and split out. His blocking is aggressive and with proper technique. He is one of the best outside run blockers I have evaluated. He gets great coverage on defenders with proper pad level. He runs his feet through the outside number and buries DL. When they out leverage him, he has great ability to torque them outside and to the sideline creating lanes. His drives blocks are tenacious; he keeps this feet moving and his hands inside through the whistle. He can run all the routes and is especially good at the seam fade, and under route. Attacks the ball with his hands and eyes and gets YAC. He is deadly in the redzone due to his size. Currently has many Power 5 offers on the table and is ranked by most publications as a 3 star. His athleticism and playmaking are off the charts. He competes in a hybrid role for the Firebirds at SS/OLB depending on the opposing offense. He is strong and destructs blocks quickly. He reads plays well and transitions with speed to run/pass. He takes on blockers with proper technique and escapes with ease. He makes great tackles on ball too and can chase plays down on ball away. He is great at bending in the backfield to ball away on read zone. His pass coverage is exemplary. He is a patient backpedaler; always keeping the routes in front of him with good eye discipline and head swivel. He hammers underneath routes once the ball is in the air. Impressive ability to stick like glue on seam and fade routes. He has good ball skills and plays through the hands.
