Luka had an excellent Junior season in 2023. His awesome play helped the Lakota West Firebirds to an 11-win season where they advanced to the 3rd round of the playoffs and averaged 30.6 points per game. He lines up inline. He is an elite run blocker as he fires off the ball and uses his great use of hands and very good play strength to drive the OLB several yards off the ball. He exhibits excellent physical toughness as he finishes the block to the ground for a pancake. He is a solid receiver as he uses his good play speed to get open quick and displays very good hands as he makes the catch with his hands away from his body in the endzone for a TD.

In 2022, Luka’s great play helped the Lakota West Firebirds to a 13-win season where they advanced to the 4th round of the playoffs and averaged 35.2 points per game. His rare height gives him a huge advantage when going against smaller defenders in the passing game. He displays good play speed as he separates and possesses good hands as he makes the catch. He is very good as a run blocker as he displays good play strength and use of hands in his punch, timing and placement and generates movement at the point of attack with his good foot drive and physical toughness.

He is an outstanding run blocker who effectively uses his very good combination of athleticism and play strength to easily overpower LB at the point of attack. In the passing game, he uses his good play speed to get open and possesses good hands as he makes the catch with his hands away from his body. After the catch is made, he displays solid acceleration as he picks up significant YAC.
