Dean is an electric dual-threat quarterback who has already built an impressive résumé at a young age, highlighted by his selection to the 2026 Region 2 Battle of the Regions team and earning KYMSFA 8th Grade Region 2 Division 1 Player of the Year honors. His ability to extend plays with his legs makes him a constant threat, as he shows great awareness in and out of the pocket. Dean doesn’t panic under pressure, he keeps his eyes downfield and can turn broken plays into positive gains, which separates him from many quarterbacks at this level.

What stands out most about Dean is his natural playmaking ability combined with steady development. With plans to continue his career at Lakota West in Ohio, he’s putting himself in a strong position to compete at a high level and continue progressing with no foreseeable ceiling anytime soon. If he continues to refine his mechanics and decision-making, Dean has the tools to become a very impactful quarterback at the next level.

Dean showed strong continuity from his standout season at Boone County Middle, where he earned 8th Grade D1 Regional Player of the Year honors, carrying that momentum into the Battle of the Regions while effectively sharing reps with teammate Brooks Braun Brooks Braun 6'3" | 170 lbs | QB/ATH Bullitt East | 2030 KY . Dean’s ability to extend plays with his legs was a clear asset, keeping drives alive and putting pressure on defenses outside the pocket. He paired that mobility with a sound arm, consistently pushing the ball downfield and displaying a confident, accurate deep throw. Even in a split-offense setting, he demonstrated leadership and playmaking ability, suggesting he can thrive with increased responsibility. With his combination of athleticism, arm talent, and proven production, Dean has significant upside and projects as a quarterback to watch as he continues to develop.
