The uber talented athlete from Lakota West is a two-sport star in basketball and football has had a big week adding offers from Ohio, Bowling Green and his first Power 4 offer from Louisville. Combs could really play offense or defense at the next level, but I like him on the defensive side of the ball. I think he will make a great joker or hybrid linebacker. His ability to play in the box, drop in coverage, and blitz will make him a versatile weapon at the college level. I could see him blowing up at the next level. He also starts and is the leading rebounder on West’s nationally ranked basketball team. He’s scored in double digits in 10 of the Firebirds 16 games. Including a double-double versus nationally ranked La Lumiere.

is a tall, long, and lengthy cover corner who is hard to beat just due to his size and sheer measurables. With good use-of-hands, he can break up passes and displays great timing to bat down would-be catches and be very disruptive. He is also a basketball player and has the potential to be a serious college football prospect.t

Combs lined up at Cornerback for the Firebirds. I’m not sure that’s where he’ll stay at the next level, but he can definitely play it at the high school level. He has good hands and uses his length well. He has a smooth backpedal and fluid hips. He’s patient in his coverage. At the college level I’d project him to add some weight and play more joker type role. Combs has an offer from Toledo.
