Sam had an awesome game as he completed 6 of 9 passes for 156 yds and 4 TD while also rushing for 129 yds on 6 attempts (21.5 ypa). His awesome play helped lead Lakota West to a 52-0 victory over Colerain to improve to 5-1 on the season. He makes quick accurate reads and delivers the ball accurately on short, intermediate and deep passes with good arm strength. He shows good poise in the pocket as he delivers an accurate strike with a blitzing LB in his face. He is a great athlete who displays excellent mobility and play speed as he picks up big yardage as he leaves the pocket.

Sam had a great Junior season in 2023. His outstanding play helped the Lakota West Firebirds to an 11-win season where they advanced to the 3rd round of the playoffs and averaged 30.6 points per game. He does a good job of reading the defense and delivers the ball accurately to all 3 levels with solid velocity. He feels the pressure before escaping the pocket and does a good job of delivering an accurate ball while on the move. He exhibits good mobility as he picks up a first down on his own. He exhibits very good mental toughness as he elevates his play in the redzone.
