As we are slated for a big offseason in New York for 2024, and 2025 recruits, take a look at recruits in the class of 2025 who are already garnering some serious recruiting attention. Some of these current sophomores had impressive breakout seasons, while some built off strong freshman varsity seasons. Either way, these recruits are just at the beginning of their recruiting journeys and should be some of the most sought-after players in the class of 2025. All information on the offers these guys hold is from their personal twitter accounts or the 247sports player database.

Pacheco Jr had an incredible season for Moore Catholic with over 1,000 yards rushing and 8 touchdowns. Pacheco is a very strong bruising runner whose physicality makes him so tough to bring down in the open field. Pacheco's strong play earned him offers from Temple, Buffalo, Bowling Green, and Toledo.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["286675"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='286675' first='Rowan' last='Byrne'] is already the most sought after recruit in New York. The talented offensive lineman has been a mainstay on the line for Iona Prep and will return not only as likley their most impactful player on offense but potentially overall. Not only does Byrne have incredible length but he is so powerful due to an extremely strong base. Byrne can play multiple positions on the offensive line and has shown the ability to block well in space or inside with bigger defensive tackles. Byrne has offers from all the major northeast FBS programs with offers from Boston College, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse, and UCONN. Byrne is starting to get some serious recognition outside of the northeast with an offer from Charlotte and easily could become the top player in the state with potential to get some serious national recruiting recognition.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["505519"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='505519' first='Tyler' last='Partlow'] is one of the most dangerous defensive lineman in New York regardless of graduating class. Partlow has some major offers coming from the Pac-12 and the ACC with opportunities from Oregon State, Washington, Temple ,Syracuse, Rutgers, and Bowling Green. Partlow is very physical and has elite upper body strength which he uses to throw offensive lineman off their line. Partlow has some really solid positional versatility with the strength to work on the inside but quickness to be pushed out to a more defensive end like role. Partlow has the size, strength, and physicality on tape that teams will love. Expect Partlow to generate even more interest through his junior and senior seasons.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["505532"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='505532' first='Isaiah' last='Vanterpool'] had a very strong sophomore season with 61 Tackles, 3 INTs, 4 TFL, 3.5 Sacks. Vanterpool played the strong safety/outside linebacker/slot corner role that is so common not only at the high school level but as the 5th defensive back at the college level. Vanterpool shows great instincts and diagnosis of what the offense is trying to do. Vanterpool plays with speed and physicality that allows him to be factors in the run game but also a very reliable defender in coverage. Vanterpool's strong season led to offers from Temple and Bowling Green and that likely will not be the only attention Vanterpool gets in the coming years.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["390762"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='390762' first='Jahyden' last='Clark'] was one of the most electric players out of Western New York this season and his strong season with Canisius. Clark has elite speed and a very versatile skillset as a wide receiver. Clark can use his elite athleticism to bring down contested catches and jump balls or run smooth routes and get balls in-strade making him a a huge threat after the catch. Clark just recently got his first offer from Buffalo but has shown on his twitter account some interest from Penn State and Rutgers. Clark had a very strong sophomore season and could be in store for a big jump both on the field and in recruiting this coming fall.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["255197"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='255197' first='Styhles' last='McKenzie-Baker'] has now three seasons of varsity experience. McKenzie-Baker spent the first two at UPrep and now is playing for Monroe in Rochester. McKenzie-Baker has an offer from Buffalo but the well-rounded ATH/Defensive Back has barely even scratched the surface of his potential. One of the best coverage corners and athletes in New York McKenzie-Baker does a great job of mirror receivers and disrupting the catch point. Overall, McKenzie-Baker does not get a ton of oppurtunities to showcase his ball skills because he is not often targeted but his tape shows the skills teams want at the next level.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["505381"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='505381' first='Richard' last='Perkins Jr'] was a really solid player amongst a stacked skill group at Canarsie. With many of those player graduating Perkins Jr has the chance to become the main guy on offense. As a reciever, Perkins Jr showed elite ability to make flashy plays down the field. Perkins Jr has great speed, twitchiness, and change of direction skills which allow him to be a dangerous threat after the catch. Perkins also can play quarterback where his athleticism and skillset make him a dangerous weapon behind a full line of blockers. Perkins Jr has strong offers because of that athleticism he showcases on film. Those offers come from Temple, UMASS, Bowling Green, Maryland, West Virginia, and Penn State.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_7_player":["505332"],"_player_evaluations_7_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='505332' first='Denzil' last='Williams'] may just have one offer from UCONN at the moment but Williams is a candidate to have a huge explosion in recruiting. The Tackle for Archbishop Stepinac has incredible explosion off the snap, great movement skills and the ability to make blocks in space. Williams has great pass protection sets and has elite strength to go along with a wide base and solid length. Williams is the player to watch on this list because although he does not hold multiple offers he could be one of the most sought after players once this class develops a little more.","_player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":8,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63fa4b782bb2b"} /-->
