It feels like Pacheco has been in the spotlight forever. The 4 year varsity player is the leader for Moore Catholic and is ranked as the top running back in the state. In his sophomore and junior campaigns, he eclipsed over 1,000 yards rushing both times. He’ll be the workhorse once again for the Mavericks and he has the potential for a truly memorable season. Pacheco is big, physical and fast. He’s one of the most complete backs in the class, as Pacheco is a punishing runner but also can make people miss with his athleticism. He’s also an excellent blocker and is very reliable in pass protection. Pacheco has several FBS offers and there is more to come.

Make it back to back seasons for RJ Pacheco surpassing 1,000 yards rushing. This past fall Pacheco had 1,027 yards on the ground with 12 scores. The shifty running back proved why he’s receiving division one offers. Yet again, he was so difficult to bring down and he brought a game changing factor to this Moore Catholic offense. In the AA-1 semifinals, he had 7 carries for 186 yards and 3 touchdowns. Pacheco helped send the Mavericks to their 3rd straight AA-1 championship appearance, where he has played in all of those games. Next season he’ll look to lead Moore Catholic to a league title.

With a trip to the championship on the line, Moore Catholic’s star came to play. It was Pacheco slicing and dicing through a tough Xavier defense whenever he had the ball. He only had 7 carries, but turned it into 186 yards and 3 touchdowns. He is one of those special 2025 prospects in the catholic league and he continues to prove it every single week. There is no secret, the key for Moore Catholic will be to play well up front and let their star junior running back make plays. The Mavericks got their first win last week over Christ The King and Pacheco ran for over 100 yards and a score on just 10 carries. Because when Pacheco gets into space he has the elusiveness and breakaway speed to be a game changer against a tough Farrell team. They have a good supporting cast with

Perhaps the best-built back in attendance, Pacheco has the three-down size and the skillset to match. He ran with great pad level, was quick to his spot, can stop on a dime, and made cuts that tore up the grass. Stir all this up and you have defenders looking like they are tripping over themselves as they dive in vain to stay in front of him. Pacheco also ran crisp routes and showed soft hands when route running. I do not recall Pacheco dropping a single pass. He looked real good all afternoon.

It was a nightmare for just about any linebacker when they had to lineup with Pacheco. The way he changed direction was swift and efficient. He created separation like it was nobody’s business. He was easily able to haul in many passes and he had one of the best ankle breaking reps of the entire event when he absolutely lost one of his defenders. The Mavericks running back keeps on getting better and better each time he steps out onto the field. After the showcase he added another power five offer as Maryland is the latest school to go after him. The Terps certainly won’t be the last as Pacheco’s combination of size and speed is going to take him a long way.

is already sporting several division one offers and it looks like Pacheco could have a really high ceiling as a recruit in terms of what schools could be interested soon. Pacheco Jr had an incredible season for Moore Catholic with over 1,000 yards rushing and 8 touchdowns. Pacheco is a very strong bruising runner whose physicality makes him so tough to bring down in the open field. Pacheco’s strong play earned him offers from Temple, Buffalo, Bowling Green, and Toledo.

The elusive back was a consistent star for the Mavericks. He finished with over 1,100 yards on the ground during his sophomore campaign. Pacheco is a smooth running back as he cuts very well and changes direction quickly. He sliced and diced through defenses throughout the season and constantly moved the chains for this Moore Catholic offense. The sophomore already has offers from Temple and Buffalo. He should draw even more attention due to the athleticism he has.
