Outstanding Houston High School Running Backs (2022 Season)

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2022 High School football season has now wrapped up. Throughout this season I've seen a ton of phenomenal athletes from the city of Houston. In this article, I will be covering standout running backs that I have seen this season from Houston, Texas.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Katy Tigers #23 [player_tooltip player_id='121974' first='Seth' last='Davis'] Sr 5'8 170 lbs</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='121974' first='Seth' last='Davis'] is one of the most notorious running backs in all of Texas. Seth is the most dependable and most valued player on The Katy Tigers roster. Once the ball touches Seth's hands he runs with breakneck speed and will be left untouched to the end zone. Seth is also difficult to tackle showcasing how important the weight room is by powering through defenders. Seth throughout his whole high school career at Katy has rushed for over 7,000 yards setting a personal record at Katy High School.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>College Offers: The University of Mississippi (Commitment) </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2022 Stats: 12 Games 195 carries, 1,860 rushing yards, and 29 touchdowns </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Hightower Hurricanes #6 [player_tooltip player_id='412732' first='Jeremy' last='Payne'] Jr 5'11 175 lbs</em></strong> </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='412732' first='Jeremy' last='Payne'] is a running back with a lot of speed and power. Numerous times Jeremy dashed through defenses with durable speed for a big run. Jeremy is putting time in the weight room he has a solid build using it to break tackles and has a mean stiff arm. Jeremy in his junior season has become a nationally-ranked athlete and is one of the top players in Houston, Texas.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>College Offers: Southern Methodist University, Texas Southern University, Indiana University, the University of Oklahoma, Texas Christian University, etc </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2022 Stats: 8 Games 100 carries, 1,000 rushing yards, and 13 touchdowns </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Atascocita Eagles #5 [player_tooltip player_id='286372' first='Tory' last='Blaylock'] So 5'10 175 lbs </em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='286372' first='Tory' last='Blaylock'] had a great sophomore season at Atascocita High School. Whenever Tory got the ball he would rush through the hole, and zoom down the field. Tory was an excellent kickoff returner one game he returned the ball for a 70-yard touchdown. Lacking in their passing game because of starting quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='277754' first='Kaleb' last='Bailey']'s ankle injury Rashaad has continuously leveled up every single game. Rashaad is electric with the ball breaking tons of tackles with great speed. Rashaad throughout this season was able to break major records and has become one of the top 5 running backs at North Shore high school.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>College Offers: Central Arkansas University (Commitment) </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>C.E King Panthers #4 Keith Willis RB Sr 6'0 225 lbs </em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Keith Willis is one of the biggest high school running backs I've seen this season. Keith weighting at 225 I thought he would be more of a power back, but to my surprise, he excels with his speed and quickness. Keith Willis is nicknamed the “bulldozer” for a reason coming down with great speed and velocity destroying everything in his path. Keith is the cornerstone of the C.E.
