A player who is excellent at accelerating and reaching another gear when hitting the second level and reaching the open field, Payne has shown to be a game changing back. The TCU commit has an effortless stride on his way to the end zone and is an overall talented athlete. Payne has the ability to stick one foot into the ground and is off to the races in a flash. He can make defenders miss in tight spaces and make them pay with his speed and quickness. When watching him, you will see what makes him a special player. Good things happen with the ball in his possession and it showed last season where he ran for 1,326 yards and 19 touchdowns. Payne has that “it” factor and a player you do not want to miss watching play.

Payne is a home run threat from the running back position and is a weapon who can light up the scoreboard from any distance. He has great vision, he gets skinny in the hole, he runs with superb leverage and if he gets a crease he can make a house call quickly. Jeremy has the frame to add bulk at the next level and retain his speed. Payne has sticky hands, he tracks the football in flight well, which enables him to be a threat in the passing game. In 2022 Payne rushed for 19 touchdowns and 1,326 yards. Jeremy will be headed to Fort Worth to TCU, he gives them an explosive option in the very near future.

Payne has superb hands, with the skill set to run crisp routes, which makes him an all-purpose back who can beat you in all phases of the game. In 2022, Payne ran for 1,326 yards and 19 touchdowns. Payne being mentioned as a standout player is nothing out of the ordinary. He is highly ranked in his class. You guys know I don’t care about stars or stats, only what I see with my own two eyes. Well ladies and gentlemen, the hype is real! Payne is borderline the perfect back, other than needing to add muscle (which will come soon enough, I’m sure of it). A patient runner with good vision and impressive burst. Payne is very much a one cut, North and South runner. He actually scored a few seconds before halftime. What made that run impressive was that the team was just running the clock out, not truly expecting to score. Payne took it upon himself to plants a foot in the ground, turn up field, and outrun the defense into the endzone. I truly believe that was the play at demoralized Heights the remained of the game. Payne helped him team advance in the playoffs.
