Continue ReadingThe summer months are heating up on the recruiting trail and several Class of 2024 running backs have made their decisions where they will spend collegiate careers on the gridiron. With our next set of ranking updates in the works at this time, here are a few names who made their pledges to the universities that they will head to in 2024.
Payne is a home run threat from the running back position and is a weapon who can light up the scoreboard from any distance. He has great vision, he gets skinny in the hole, he runs with superb leverage and if he gets a crease he can make a house call quickly. Jeremy has the frame to add bulk at the next level and retain his speed. Payne has sticky hands, he tracks the football in flight well, which enables him to be a threat in the passing game. In 2022 Payne rushed for 19 touchdowns and 1,326 yards. Jeremy will be headed to Fort Worth to TCU, he gives them an explosive option in the very near future.

Highlights
Palmer is phonebooth quick, he can cut on a dime and when he gets a crease of daylight you can strike up the band because it’s six for Decatur. Nathaniel is a blur with the football in his hands, his explosive burst in the open field allows him to leave defenders reaching for air and he is not being caught from behind as defenders know the writing is on the wall when he breaks free. In 2022, Palmer was the 4-4A Offensive MVP totaling 2,704 all-purpose yards, while rushing for 34 touchdowns. Nathaniel was a national recruit with double digits offers. Palmer is staying close to home and has settled on the TCU Horned Frogs. who are fresh off of a National Championship appearance and a Big 12 Championship. Palmer’s next level speed wont be kept off the field long once he gets to Fort Worth.
Happy bday pops, We staying home. #Gofrogs🐸

Highlights
Lacy is a big body, powerful, speedy runner who wears down defenses before he chokes them out with a burst for six. At 6’0 205 pounds, the Lancaster senior rusher is a terror with the football in his hands. Lacy is a load, he runs with excellent pad level, his ability to break tackles makes him a tough ball carrier to bring down and when he sees daylight he has the explosive burst to make a house call from anywhere on the field. Kewan has the versatility to line up at wide receiver in the Lancaster offense and he has the hands combined with his sharp route running to beat defenders consistently, making him a weapon no matter where he lines up. Lacy committed to Nebraska, as the Cornhuskers closed in on a franchise back they coveted on the recruiting trail. Look for Lacy to get an opportunity early to push for playing time on when he arrives on campus in Lincoln.
