There was a lot of expectation and interest leading up to the Prep Redzone Next Northeast Camp this past weekend. There were over 150 athletes, from 14 different states that participated in the event. The amount of talent players on display, at every position, got me fired up for the future of football in the Northeast. With that said, here are the one’s that stood out the most at each position and were named MVPs.
A 5-foot-11, 225-pound Linebacker out of New Jersey with exceptional power as a Mike Linebacker. Was a key member of a Glassboro youth team that has won back-to-back league championships.
One of, if not the, top 2027 Quarterback out of the Garden State headed into high school in the fall. Big, thick Quarterback at 6-foot and 205-pounds who throws a beautiful deep ball.

Nitz attended our spring camp in May of 2022 as a seventh-grader and was named a top performer. He followed it up with an MVP performance this past Saturday after a relentless showing on the front.
Highlights
Stands every bit of his verified 6-foot-2 and 290-pound size. Has extremely long arms, is high cut and sits very comfortably in his stance. The Pennsylvania native made a big splash and earned MVP honors.
The 2027 prospect already holds offers from Penn State, Ole Miss and Oregon six months before he even graduates middle school–with more on the way, soon. Already 6-foot and 165-chiseled pounds. He’s elite.
For the second PRZ Next camp in a row, Isa Thomas Isa Thomas 5’6″ | 145 lbs | RB Newark East Side | 2027 State NJ made Wide Receivers on the 2027 National Watchlist look completely mundane. At 5-foot-4 and 140-pounds he plays fearlessly and locks down Isa Island.
Was physically on a different level than the other athletes, in the best collection of Running Backs I have ever seen at a camp–without question. Measured in at 5-foot-7, 160-pounds and popped 4.47 in the forty…twice.
