2024 OT [player_tooltip player_id='228493' first='Ben' last='Roebuck'] 6'7 315- Since the skill players always get the glory, I'm going to start with the offensive line. It was dominating and it starts with Roebuck. He simply dominated all night long. Whether it was drive blocking or setting the edge and sealing on outside runs. I saw Roebuck start at right tackle in last year's state title game and he was good, but this year he's taken his game to another level. His mentality is no longer just to execute the block, it's to destroy whatever is in his way. Ben gets attention for his size and strength, but I'll tell you this. He's an underestimated athlete. Watching him move on zone stretch blocking in warmups or seeing him kick above his waist in pregame calisthenics, he's a much greater athlete than some will give him credit for. As he continues to get stronger and with the coaching, he gets at Ed's he's going to be a very high level D1 college lineman.

2024 OT [player_tooltip player_id='284583' first='Deontae' last='Armstrong'] 6'7 280- is a long and I mean long, and athletic offensive tackle. Athletically he's elite. He's a work in progress as he continues to work on his body by gaining weight and strength. You will not find greater clay to mold. He's only going to get bigger, stronger, and more explosive. Mentality wise he's starting to flip the switch where he expects to dominate every play. Once that switch gets totally flipped, and I expect it too this offseason. The sky is the limit for this young man. He could be a 30 offer guy

2024 OG [player_tooltip player_id='284552' first='Devontae' last='Armstrong'] 6'5 285- Devontae is a little smaller than his aforementioned twin Brother. He has the same profile athletically, however. The length and athleticism are there and it will be plus, plus for an interior lineman. Like Deontae, Devontae will need to continue to add weight and strength but has huge upside. Due to his quickness and athleticism pass pro will not be any kind of issue for him, and again, with great coaching Devontae will continue to strengthen his game as a run blocker and he'll start playing more downhill. With that I expect a switch to flip with him as well when it comes to dominating the line of scrimmage. When all is said and done I think Devontae will be a 20-30 offer guy.

2023 C Ricky Wolverton 6'3 300- Wolverton may not get the run of some of his counterparts, but he's a very good offensive lineman in his own right. He's strong at the point of attack, he takes good steps, and is technically sound. In a game where there was a little rain and a fair amount of wind, I never saw once snap that wasn't on point. He's definitely a college caliber prospect.

2024 QB [player_tooltip player_id='284605' first='Casey' last='Bullock']- Bullock has a good arm who made some nice throws on the evening. Both Bullock and Ed's bread was buttered with the zone read run. Bullock did a masterful job of executing the read and carrying out the fakes when he didn't pull it to keep the defense honest. There were several plays where it was honestly difficult to tell who had the ball. Bullock's grasp of the passing game and ability to attack defenses through the air will continue to develop with reps and experience, but with the run game to fall back on he's going to continue to be very potent weapon for this offense heading into next season.

Mason did have 2 difference making plays in the game. He had a reception where he made the catch and then used his speed to turn and head up the sidelines for the score. He also had an acrobatic catch that he hauled in to get the Eagles down by the goal line and put Ed's in position to push the score to 28-14 in the fourth quarter. Mason is a speedster who has excellent ball skills. He's a vertical threat any time he lines up. As he continues to develop and find chemistry with [player_tooltip player_id='284605' first='Casey' last='Bullock'] I expect him to develop and execute more of the route tree.

2023 DL [player_tooltip player_id='189509' first='Michael' last='Kilbane'] 6'4 250- Kilbane was just on another level all night long. His ability to win with speed or power was simply devastating. He mixed it up all night long and always had the offensive linemen guessing. He has a bull rush that he used to drive blockers backwards. For his size and strength, he has good bend that he uses on the edge. Mike had 3 sacks in the game. Northwestern and Pat Fitzgerald are getting a good one in Kilbane.

2024 DL [player_tooltip player_id='367131' first='Troy' last='Regovich'] 6'4 250- Regovich continues the theme of defensive line dominance by the Eagles. He got excellent push all night long. Consistently driving blockers into the backfield and into the lap of the Springfield quarterback. Once he gets his push, he does a good job of reading and disengaging to pursue the ball. Regovich finished the evening with 2 sacks. I like him as strong side DE or rush Tackle at the college level depending on development of either or both pass rush technique and weight/strength.

2023 Edge [player_tooltip player_id='189517' first='Wyatt' last='Gedeon'] 6'1 225- Like Kilbane, Gedeon had his way all night long on his way to 3.5 sacks and another QB hit. Gedeon is a different type of rusher, but none the less dominating. Wyatt sets up his blockers with his speed. He has legit track sprinter speed at 6'1 225. With his good bend, winning the edge is rarely a problem. Once he has the blocker fearful of his ability to win the edge, he can then dip his shoulder and take the inside and win a straight path to the QB. Gedeon is committed to Coastal Carolina.

2023 QB [player_tooltip player_id='159933' first='Bryce' last='Schondelmyer'] 6'2 195- As noted with the players above and the pass rush they inflicted on Schondelmyer, he was remarkably consistent and made impressive throws to pull his team out of long yard and distance situations. He's a sneaky good athlete as he consistently extended plays and made good throws to move the chains. The young man is a gamer and a winner. He's as mentally tough as they come. He does a good job of feeling and escaping the rush when possible. In the midst of no real run game and the pressure he was seeing to go 21 of 200 yards and 2 TD's and make some really impressive and elite throws was a special performance. I myself, and many I know are confused why Bryce hasn't gotten more D1 attention. While I don't have an answer for that question, what I do know is that whoever does get him, is getting one heck of a quarterback, and a winner.
