This standout back has been a star since his sophomore season and he was at it again on Friday night. And Chandler is a team that we need to start taking more seriously in the Class 2A title race. On Friday night, in a blowout win over Bethel, Hill ran for nearly 350 yards and four touchdowns. It was the best game of the season for Hill, who missed Chandler's only loss against 4A powerhouse Poteau. And despite missing Hill, the Lions only lost by single digits to the Pirates, who are now #2 in the 4A rankings. Hill appears to be well on his way to an All State-caliber season and he's been that type of player over the last few seasons for the Lions. He would have only seven carries on the night and finished with 236 yards and three touchdowns. Idabel has a showdown with Eufaula looming in week ten that will more than likely decide the district championship. Idabel might end up being a dark horse in the 2A title race this year but behind Larry and several other young and up and coming stars, Idabel will be a team to watch for the next few years.rnrnu003c!u002du002d /wp:paragraph u002du002du003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview","anchor":"acf-block-68a58599d969c"} /-->

While the Tigers came up short of upsetting the top-ranked Redhawks on Thursday night, McClarty could not be contained in the ground game. The dynamic senior quarterback would run for just over 250 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries on the night. He's always been one of the top running quarterbacks in the state and he continues to show that he should be recruited as an overall athlete in the state's 2023 class. Look at former Moore standout quarterback Daniel Hishaw and what he's doing at the next level with Kansas as a running back. McClarty should be on that kind of path for playing at the next level.rnrnu003c!u002du002d /wp:paragraph u002du002du003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview","anchor":"acf-block-68a58599d96ca"} /-->

The Titans began the run on Thursday in week six by beating up on Southeast in a dominating performance. Leading the way once again on the offensive side of the ball was Carl Albert junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='360239' first='Xavier' last='Robinson']. He finished with 200 yards and five touchdowns on the ground and as if that wasn't enough, he also took a kick back for his sixth touchdown on the night. Robinson has to be in the conversation for being one of the best overall prospects in the state's 2024 class. And at this point, we think that he has a good chance of making the claim to being the top running back in the class. We're looking forward to seeing him in person Friday against McGuinness.rnrnu003c!u002du002d /wp:paragraph u002du002du003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"align":"","mode":"preview","anchor":"acf-block-68a58599d96fb"} /-->
