The number one ranked player in the 2025 class, [player_tooltip player_id="154352" first="Stone" last="Saunders"] acts as the prized possession amongst quarterbacks in the state, regardless of class. The Freshman All-American was just 4 scores shy of hitting the 50 mark last Fall, an incredible record-breaking feat that could actually be surmounted again this Fall. Yes, Bishop McDevitt will be without elite athletes in Mario Easterly and Kamil Foster, each of whom has moved on to collegiate programs. Saunders will still lead an elite offense backed behind a seriously talented offensive line, two elite backs in [player_tooltip player_id="27732" first="Marquese" last="Williams"] and [player_tooltip player_id="140027" first="Cyncir" last="Bowers"] as well as [player_tooltip player_id="140018" first="Jeffrey" last="Penn"] and Top-10 prospect [player_tooltip player_id="255045" first="Rico" last="Scott"]. Records and statistics aside, Bishop McDevitt is in good hands when they can deploy an underclassman at quarterback who is this far along both mechanically and cerebrally. His frame checks out heading into his sophomore year, he can pinpoint passes across all three levels of the field. His feet are tied with his eyes, one of the more technically sound passers in the state. His tape is littered with passes that throw open his receivers, an advanced trait I haven’t seen executed to this degree since Beau Pribula at Central York. Calm under pressure, Saunders looks to work a defense, often making the right initial reads while being able to move launch points to buy time for secondary reads. Saunders’ 17-minute freshman tape provides quality reps that leave programs like Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Georgia, no choice but to offer.

Happy to see a Group of Five program pull the trigger on a young quarterback prospect this early on. [player_tooltip player_id="255088" first="Luke" last="Kosko"], formerly out of Seton LaSalle, will take his talents to Thomas Jefferson high school this upcoming Fall season. Exciting build that stands tall in the pocket, his stature is a plus. The first two minutes of tape are full of deep balls thrown to wide-open targets. I can see the solid arm strength out of the kid, I came away more impressed when watching his in-rhythm passes. The tape showed on-time and accurate passes hitting posts, slants, hitches, and out-routes in rhythm. Kosko has a ton to clean up and is far from a perfect prospect, no quarterback in the country has perfect freshman tape. We project that a cleaner base, some tweaks to his release, and continuous reps under center could shoot his stock through the roof.

[player_tooltip player_id="255085" first="Brady" last="Heiser"] | 6’1, 200 | Gettysburg

[player_tooltip player_id="255085" first="Brady" last="Heiser"] doesn’t have the FBS offer yet, but his tape is too good to not place third. Without a doubt the more mobile of the three prospects listed thus far. The freshman tape still shows a bit of a wind-up when attacking a defense vertically, but Heiser has more than enough torque in his throws to lead his receivers open and in stride on streaks downfield. Love his ability to scan a field in a clean pocket, as well as on the go or under pressure. Excellent depth perception has Heiser dropping balls into buckets downfield with just a flick. Heiser provides a different wrinkle, executing RPO’s like he’s a veteran in the offense. Good on Gettysburg utilizing Heiser’s feet and maximizing his game-changing potential. Offers are offers, Heiser’s time will come. Happy that I got to see this kid up close at our StockUp showcase this past January.

[player_tooltip player_id="147880" first="Evan" last="Myers"] | 5’10, 170 | Twin Valley

[player_tooltip player_id="147880" first="Evan" last="Myers"] provides a little of everything when breaking down the tape. When working the short game, Myers is quick and decisive snap to release. The second half of his tape shows he can hit slants, hitches, and screens precisely and on top without too much thought. That’s a solid first step. Myers might not blow you away with his arm strength, but it should hold suffice considering his size. Myers does a good job locating his man downfield, showing he’s capable of beating a defense over the top. Where Myers is most special is on the move. He isn’t the most spectacular athlete but has wiggle in the pocket, enough wiggle to escape often and scramble for scores inside the red zone. Love his ability to improvise when he combines his arm and legs. The young man made some special big-time throws on the run, an aspect of his game that I fully expect him to improve on as he continues to develop. Exciting player.

Efficient in both completion percentage and in terms of turning the ball over. 65% completion percentage, along with a 13/0 TD/INT ratio. Tack on six scores and almost 350 yards on the ground for the future of Malvern Prep football. Elite pocket pressence, proficient in the pocket that he surprises you with athleticism if his number is called. [player_tooltip player_id="386285" first="Skyler" last="Smith"] and this offense made things look easy against B-teams that couldn’t keep up quite frankly. Skyler’s rank might be hurt simply because those above him have quality varsity reps to put forth at the moment. If I were ranking solely on projections, Smith would be second behind [player_tooltip player_id="154352" first="Stone" last="Saunders"].

Quite the freshman season for [player_tooltip player_id="386099" first="Madden" last="Patrick"] out of Danville high school. Danville can’t go wrong moving the ball on the ground behind a great offensive line and [player_tooltip player_id="91810" first="Ty" last="Brown-Stauffer"] toting the rock. That’s a winning formula, a formula that will also help young quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="386099" first="Madden" last="Patrick"] develop without too much pressure. 1300+ yards through the air sounds pretty good, add in 15 total scores and you’ve got a kid who is ready for the full plate at the table. He displays good decisiveness with the football. His eyes show that he has a plan with the football and is willing to stay in the pocket to fulfill said plan. Patrick plays bigger than his measurables suggest, he doesn’t look deterred by pressure especially when the offense runs sets that require time for routes to develop. A sleeper in a District that doesn’t get enough attention in recruiting.

The former Souderton area passer will now suit up for St. Joseph’s Prep. SJP’s future at quarterback is set for the time being, so long as top-ranked 2024 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="164520" first="Samaj" last="Jones"] is behind center. Yet [player_tooltip player_id="141986" first="Tre" last="Henning"] provides a quality arm in the bullpen that the program could stash for a while. Henning exudes potential, I have been hearing his name for what seems like two-three years now. Staff at SJP have the developmental tools and scheme to unlock this young man’s full potential. The Souderton tape provides a lot to like, his ability to scan the field while subdetly avoiding pressure is desirable. His ability to hit corner, seam and go routes in stride is also desirable. I have no doubt that Henning will grow immensley under the SJP umbrella.
