We are back for Part 2 of our Weight Lifting Roundup for the month of March! It was a month full of max out weeks, huge numbers, great form, and massive gains. Check out the numbers, and videos below, and give the twitter's a follow. These are athletes to know going forward. It is going to be a competitive fall if the weight room has anything to say about it! Let's get it started! [player_tooltip player_id="286169" first="Nicholas" last="McCullough"], '25 DL- Muskego Lift: 245 lbs Bench Press Nicholas is a regular in these lifting recaps. He is back with another impressive freshman lift of 245 lbs on the bench. The young, rising athlete already has solid length for the position, so being able to push that weight is not easy. He is building a great base of strength for next season. https://twitter.com/NickMccullough0/status/1501222043823575048 Bruce Rezin, '25 ATH- Tomah Lift: 230 lbs Bench Press Bruce is another regular in this series. He checks in with a 230 lbs bench this month. Solid lift for the 170 lbs freshman. The mulit-sport athlete is one I will be keeping an eye on for the next several years. Love to see a young kid putting in the work. https://twitter.com/Brucerezin18/status/1501336301659906048 [player_tooltip player_id="104376" first="Luke" last="German"], '23 DL- Slinger Lift: 623 lbs Squat (New American Raw Record for Weight Class), 386 lbs Bench Press, 507 lbs Deadlift Luke had a hell of a showing this month winning his weight class, setting a record for his weight class at his competition. The big man has elite strength to anchor the Slinger DL this season. Slinger has been fielding impressive linemen on both sides of the line. German could be up next. https://twitter.com/LukeGerman4/status/1501024236621684737 [player_tooltip player_id="104436" first="Reese" last="Thompson"], '23 LB- Hudson Lift: 340 lbs Bench Press The 6' 230 lbs LB battled a bit for this big lift. He did good not to let his technique slip. Big fan of Reese at the LB position where he will get to use that upper body strength to fight through the trenches. Name to know. https://twitter.com/ReeseThompson55/status/1500574192340803590 [player_tooltip player_id="262072" first="Tyler" last="Van Sluys"], '25 ATH- Grafton Lift: 225 lbs Bench Press The freshman playmaker has made it into the 2 plate club this month with this lift below. I'm excited to see if Tyler can earn a consistent role on Friday nights this fall. I was impressed by his freshman tape. https://twitter.com/tyler_sluys/status/1502769782726213641 Herbert Broomfield, '24 LB- Fond du Lac Lift: 500 lbs Squat The young fella put up one of the most impressive lifts of this two part series. The sophomore broke into the 500 lbs club with this massive squat. He had to battle on the initial push, but overall this was a smooth lift. I'm excited to see his play this year, and to look back on his 2021. https://twitter.com/FondyFBCoach/status/1503387370116239362 [player_tooltip player_id="262062" first="Jackson" last="Kitzmiller"], '25 DL- Edgewood Lift: 225 lbs Bench Press X 6 The freshmen have taken over this article, and Jackson is the most impressive of the bunch. Our current DL1 for the Class of 2025 has continued to put in the work this offseason. Big year coming after a freshman breakout season. https://twitter.com/jacksonkitz50/status/1503499596168896522 Leo Brostowicz, '23 RB- Wisconsin Rapids Lift: 475 lbs Squat Grass is green. The sky is blue. Athletes are moving heavy weight in Wisconsin Rapids. Leo has been another one of the monthly top performers in the gym. These dudes have me putting them high on my list for teams that i want to get out to see this fall. I love the work they are putting in. https://twitter.com/BrostowitzLeo/status/1503525403822067716 [player_tooltip player_id="304567" first="Brayden" last="Eigenbrodt"], '24 RB- Fond du Lac Lift: 415 lbs Squat The Fondy RB is going to be a strong, workhorse option for his team this year with an offseason like the one he is putting in. Textbook lift on this squat. Good depth, stays tall, keeps the core engaged. Love to see it all! https://twitter.com/Braydeneigy1/status/1503387143154159616 Brandon Danor, '23 DL- Fond du Lac Lift: 505 lbs Squat ( 250+ lbs School Record) Junior Brandon Danor had a special March as he set the school squat record for his weight class. It was a fight, but it did not look like there were 500 lbs on the kid's back. Brandon is firmly on my radar now. I'll be checking him out further. Potential name to know. https://twitter.com/FondyFBCoach/status/1503387855724421124 [player_tooltip player_id="304431" first="Isaiah" last="Jones"], '23 DL/LB- Fond du Lac Lift: 305 lbs Hang Clean Fondy had themselves an eventful string of lifts this month! [player_tooltip player_id="304431" first="Isaiah" last="Jones"] joins the party with a crazy 305 lbs hang clean. Fondy has been home to very impressive lifts the last few years. It continues with a great month of lifts by Isaiah and his teammates. https://twitter.com/Isaiah55jones/status/1503754697764753415 [player_tooltip player_id="270692" first="Joseph" last="Koch"], '24 RB- Menomonee Falls Lift: 245 Power Clean X 4 Joseph has been highlighted before. This time he went off by getting in reps of 245 lbs on power clean. Koch is going to be explosive this fall toting the rock. I'm hoping for a breakout year after all this hard work. Big fan of Joseph. https://twitter.com/Joseph_koch24/status/1503872636132200451 [player_tooltip player_id="262061" first="Carson" last="Fletcher"], '25 ATH- Racine Horlick Lift: 225 lbs Bench Press X 6 The freshmen continue to steal the show. Our third overall freshman makes the article with his repping of 225 lbs. Love seeing the young kids maintaining great form while battling through lifts. No cheating here. Big year coming in Racine Horlick for Carson and his team. https://twitter.com/CarsonF_33/status/1504244645072674820?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1504244645072674820%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fprepredzone.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php%3Fpost%3D314659action%3Dedit Dylan Portz, '25 WR- Kettle Moraine Lift: 475 lbs Deadlift, 550 lbs Trap Bar Deadlift, 350 lbs Squat X 2 Dylan has been killing it this month. He put up a couple of huge deadlift variations, and an impressive two rep squat. The freshman is excelling in the explosive lifts telling me that I need to keep an eye out for him this fall. Interested in what his impact will be as a sophomore on a very talented varsity. https://twitter.com/PortzDylan/status/1506429245475770368?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1506429245475770368%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fprepredzone.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php%3Fpost%3D314659action%3Dedit https://twitter.com/PortzDylan/status/1504501221142450179?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1504501221142450179%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fprepredzone.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php%3Fpost%3D314659action%3Dedit https://twitter.com/PortzDylan/status/1507150600642912274?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1507150600642912274%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fprepredzone.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php%3Fpost%3D314659action%3Dedit Grey Rumohr, '24 OL- Kettle Moraine Lift: 650 lbs Trap Bar Deadlift PR This is where having exceptional length helps. When you are trying to lock down the blindside on the OL, and when trying to drag 650 ls off the ground. Grey locks in a pulls this impressive lift back on the 17th. Grey is a rising prospect, and has big time breakout potential. He impressed at our Winter Showcase back in December also. Great offseason, thus far. https://twitter.com/grey_rumohr/status/1504501544967979015?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1504501544967979015%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fprepredzone.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php%3Fpost%3D314659action%3Dedit [player_tooltip player_id="270687" first="Tanner" last="Dalske"], '24 ATH- Fond du Lac Lift: 505 lbs Deadlift (School Record for Weight Class) Fondy is going to have one of the strongest team's every Friday night at this rate. Now they have sophomores setting records in their weight class with massive pulls on deadlifts. Tanner ha had a great offseason in the gym and at 7 V 7. Name to know for the Class of 2024. https://twitter.com/FondyFBCoach/status/1504553060160389134?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1504553060160389134%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fprepredzone.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php%3Fpost%3D314659action%3Dedit [player_tooltip player_id="273014" first="Isaac" last="Pelland"], '24 ATH- Baraboo Lift: 255 lbs Bench Press This is a new name for me to check out. The sophomore is buidling a solid base for the fall. He is just starting to scratch the surface on his potential. Baraboo will be looking for new impacts after several key pieces graduated. Isaac will have a shot to have a bigger role in '22. https://twitter.com/PellandIsaac/status/1505911420554260482?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1505911420554260482%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fprepredzone.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php%3Fpost%3D314659action%3Dedit [player_tooltip player_id="191982" first="Sawyer" last="Lichtensteiger"], '23 LB- West Bend East Lift: 300 lbs Power Clean What a freaking lift! Sawyer is a dominant pass rusher who flies off the edge. I see where he gets that next level first step explosion. Gripping and ripping these types of power cleans in the offseason are going to take him to the next level. Get on him early! https://twitter.com/SawyerLicht44/status/1506780403180388353 JP Rguig, '23 ATH- Lake Mills Lift: 405 lbs Squat X 3 This is a new name on my radar after seeing this lift. JP is a compact WR and DB who is able to play bigger than his listed size because of his explosive lower half. Lifts like this are just going to improve his play even more. Lake Mills has several names to know each year. This might be one of the next athletes to know. https://twitter.com/Jprguig24/status/1506801662375120901 [player_tooltip player_id="226935" first="Liam" last="Droessler"], '23 OL- Milton Lift: 185 lbs Bench Press X 29 Liam went off this month with a strong display of strength, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular endurance on this lift. Liam has been putting in the work on a daily basis, and has earned spots in multiple weight lifting articles this offseason. https://twitter.com/LiamDroessler/status/1507875260229734403 [player_tooltip player_id="31394" first="Seth" last="Miron"], '23 QB- Kimberly Lift: 365 lbs Squat X 3 Love seeing the QB in the weight room leading the way. Seth just wrapped up basketball season, and he didn't waste time heading right back to work. Pumped to watch him take over this year. https://twitter.com/MironSeth/status/1508839493528342534
