. Reese is a hard hitting, 6′ 225 lbs LB. The senior is still only 17, so he has a lot of growing and developing ahead of him. He already looks like a next level LB. Teams looking for a tone setter at the second level of the defense need to check him out.

I’m surprised at the recruitment of Reese. He has some offers, but in my eyes he should be far more pursued than he is. He will be at fall camp on a college campus before he even turns 18. The dude is young for his class, yet already has shown so much talent. There is so much potential to tap into as well. The 6′ 225 lbs LB looks the part, and plays the part of a high, next level LB. The first thing that stands out is that Thompson is so strong. He runs through linemen on the way to the ball. Unless they hit him square there is no slowing him down or getting him off his path. That power is huge in his block shedding, blitzing, and tackling. Reese is one of the best tacklers in WI. At minimum, Reese is a top tier 1st and 2nd down LB at the D1/D2 level. Don’t miss out on one of the biggest sleepers in WI.

Rise: 48 up to 30rnAnother athlete that I am a personal fan of is the powerful, hard hitting LB from Hudson, WI. Reese checks in at 6′ 225 lbs. That is 15 lbs up from his weight during the 2021 season. It is safe to assume that a lot of that size addition is muscle based off massive lifts like his 340 lbs bench press. It also needs to be pointed out that Reese just turned 17 years old this past week despite it being his senior season. So the playmaker is just staring to tap into his potential, and will most likely see a huge jump in his game at the next level. That has him shaping himself into being a huge steal. The defensive force has an offer from Dayton. More need to take a look at this kid, and keep his age in mind.
