It's the offseason. That means it's time for athletes to work on their game through drills, film study, and weight lifting. The last item is what I want to focus on today. I have been seeing and getting tagged in some outrageous lifting feats this past month. So much so that I wanted to start going month by month highlighting the most impressive lifts I see come across my twitter page. Our first installment has crazy numbers put up by some serious freak beasts! Check them out below and don't forget to follow these athletes because they are just getting started!
[player_tooltip player_id="105028" first="Jacoby" last="Krill"], DL ’24- Waukesha South
Lift: 365 lbs squat PR
Jacory is a kid I was expecting to see breakout this fall after ranking him in our recent update. Now that I see he is grinding in the weight room my expectations continue to grow. Look for a big performance from the soon to be junior! Long, lean, and strong.

Lift: 405 x 3 Deadlift, 455 x 3 Squat
I’m pumped to watch Leo tote the rock in a few months. He is going to be a problem to drag down. You can bet the leg drive is going to be there after an offseason of squatting and deadlifting eye popping numbers!

Cole Stevens, OL ’23- D.C. Everest

The big man is become even more powerful and explosive this offseason! He already has a lot of interest, but I expect another jump in interest when he starts tearing up camps this summer after putting up numbers like this.

One of the top uncommitted LBs in the state plays the same way he lifts. Technically sound, strong, and explosive. He is going to be a steal for a program!

[player_tooltip player_id="104482" first="Dawson" last="Rud"], ’23 RB- Mondovi
Lift: 185 x 14 Bench Press
We knew the playmaker had an explosive lower body based on the tape, but it looks like he is molding his upper body to be just as strong and dangerous.

[player_tooltip player_id="118530" first="Joe" last="Berens"], ’22 RB- Wausau West

Berens is getting himself ready for the next level! He set the school record with a perfect rep! The 5’10" 200 lbs two way first team All Conference athlete is still looking for his home, and you can bet he will be ready when he is needed.

The powerful back is only getting stronger in preparation for his junior year! The compact, 5’10" 200 lbs athlete is going to be a difficult player to drag down. His upper and lower body strength are continuing to go up.
