A lineman who deserves more shine is the South Milwaukee guard. Clay currently holds an offer from Winona State, and things should only pick up as the 6’2″ 280 lbs guard gets himself in front of college coaches this summer. Clay is a powerful mauler in the run game. His varsity team has long been able to count on him to drive his man off the ball and into the laps of LBs. Clay is able to maximize his strength that he has built up I the weight room with very sound technique. His wide base is able to drive even the biggest DTs out of the trenches and his feet easily keep him square on his man so he doesn’t overextend or lose leverage. Clay can take that power on the move too as he delivers pancake blocks while pulling. His anchor strength locks down a secure pocket for his QB in the pass gam as well. Clay has been an impressive OL prospect for a couple years. I’d pound the table for this kid. Check him out.

Another standout member of the Class of 2025 OL group is the South Milwaukee guard Clay Spaltholz Clay Spaltholz 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL South Milwaukee | 2025 State WI . The 6’2″ 280 lbs sophomore has excellent range. Check out his first play and watch him lead across the whole field and downfield before landing a block on a DB. Clay is a easy mover out in space. His light feet allow him to skip pull and close on defenders out in space quickly. Clay can switch from finesse to power instantly too. He has solid anchor strength in pass protection to keep the pocket from collapsing. Also, his initial punch shocks the DL and can stop them in their tracks. The big man plays angry too, and will put defenders in the dirt every chance he gets.
