Stats: 15 Carries, 32 Yards, 2 Receptions, 27 Yards, 11 Tackles, 1 TFL, 1 PBUrnI’m glad to see our final member of this talented group earning more recruiting attention recently. Since his final game, St. Norbert’s and UW-Stout have joined UW-River Falls in offering a roster spot to the athlete. Because of his size, I believe Rud’s future is at the RB position. Rud would be a dangerous change of pace back for a D3 team. He has 4.56 40 speed. That type of speed can break a game open at any level. On the field, Dawson is a shifty RB who can jump cut and burst his way through the traffic between the tackles, and then break off big gains out in space. The senior also has soft hands, and when he can get him the ball out in space he can hurt a defense. Rud also impressed me with his physicality. He was not easy to drag down. His compact frame gives him a low center of gravity that was hard to take down. I look forward to seeing the type of impact he can have at the next level.

Stats: 26 Carries, 227 Yards, 2 TDs, 7 tackles, 1 INTrnThe 5’7″ 170 lbs senior RB has been on a tear this postseason, and he has his team rolling into Level 4 of the playoffs. Yet the RB is still an under the radar prospect. Now his size will make it hard for some to overlook, but for the ones who do they will find an exciting change of pace back. Dawson has sub 4.6 speed, and short area quickness to be able to cut and change directions smoothly and swiftly. The biggest surprise to his game is how physical he will play. Rud doesn’t mind lowering his shoulder, and that compact frame gives him the leverage advantage. His build also gives him a low center of gravity that you see on those carries where he lowers his shoulder against opponents. Dawson holds an offer from UW- River Falls. Don’t miss out on him.

Stats: 12 Carries, 132 Yards, 2 TDsrnWow! All you need to do is watch the first 10 seconds of Dawson’s highlights to see his next level speed. He leaves the entire field in his wake on the way to a TD. Once he accelerates there aren’t many pursuit angles that can catch him. The 5’7″ RB also demonstrates some impressive power for his size, as well as contact balance bouncing off tackle attempts. Rud’s jump cut was a lethal part of his game this week. It allowed him to make defenders miss, hit gaps at the last second, and break contain. A strong performance form the senior with one offer to UW- River Falls.
