2021 Fall Team Preview: Roman Catholic

Welcome to 2021’s Team Preview series! We will highlight programs that are poised to make noise this fall. Ranked players, up-and-coming underclassmen, or watch list prospects, if you’re team has them, we will cover! Next up we have a Roman Catholic program that may be more excited about its future than its current position in the Philadelphia Catholic League. That may also not be the case just because of how well-balanced the team is. Talent at every class. He stacks up as one of the best defensive backs in the state. He will play alongside another stud defensive back, Mekhi Smallwood whose recruitment I expect to heat up in coming weeks. Great backpedal, archetypal limb length at corner. Top 30 player in his class, the game-wrecking defensive lineman is currently holding offers from prestigious D1 programs, Syracuse, Temple, and  Maryland to name some. I can’t wait to see who stands out from the group. I’ve heard the rave about [player_tooltip player_id="164528" first="David" last="Macon"], who may be yet another standout defensive back in what must be a crowded DB room. [player_tooltip player_id="141010" first="Tyseer" last="Denmark"] and [player_tooltip player_id="142404" first="Sameir" last="Speights"]. Two elite sophomores that can shoot Roman Catholic’s stock through the roof if they play how we expect them to. Both players sit just outside the top-10 of their class. Both players are already the most sought-after prospects on the team.
