THIS WEEK’S TOP STORIES
Tulsa Has Busy Week Offering Playmakers
Tulsa made headlines in the last week by offering three talented playmakers in Oklahoma’s 2022 and 2023 classes. They made headlines back in December, during the early signing period when they signed zero in-state prospects. TU seems determined to not let that happen again with future classes and it began last week with Owasso 2023 wide receiver

. The Owasso standout isn’t the biggest receiver prospect in the state but he’s been an impact player for the Rams since debuting on the varsity as a freshman.
Another wide receiver who picked up an offer from Tulsa last week was Eufaula 2022 Khelil Deere Khelil Deere 6'2" | WR Eufaula | 2022 State OK . The Eufaula standout tweeted out that not only had he been offered by the Golden Hurricane, but that it was his first D1 offer. Eufaula is going to be a team to watch this year as the QB-WR duo of Luke Adcock Luke Adcock 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Eufaula | 2023 State OK and Deere will be one of the best small school combos in the state. And the final offer came to Bethany 2022 standout Jocelyn Malaska Jocelyn Malaska 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Bethany | 2022 State OK . Out of the three prospects offered, Malaska was the most known prospect as he had picked up several offers over the last few months. At this point, we have Malaska still listed as an athlete because he could end up being a receiver or playing defensive back at the next level.
McClellan Offered By Another Blue Blood
We started doing our weekly Recruiting Reports in late February and nearly every week, Owasso 2022 defensive lineman

has been featured because he continues to just absolutely rake in offers. And once again, McClellan is featured after picking up an offer from one of the “Blue Bloods” of college football. Late in the week, McClellan tweeted out that he had been offered by Ohio State. McClellan now has over 30 offers and has become arguably the hottest recruit in Oklahoma, regardless of class. Last week, we debuted our Big Board series, ranking the top ten players at each position. We released the Quarterback Big Board and the Defensive Lineman Big Board and McClellan was the runaway pick for the top defensive lineman in Oklahoma today.
Downing Adds Another Armed Service Offer
This is the second straight week that Vinita 2022 running back

has been featured in the weekly Recruiting Report. And for the second straight week, Downing has picked up an offer from a Service Academy. Last week, it was Navy offering Downing, this week, Army jumped in and offered the Vinita standout. In the last month or so, Downing went from zero offers to a handful from lower level D1 schools. He’s a 2022 prospect that has been incredibly productive over the last three years and it’s about time that colleges start taking notice and extending offers. He’s also a fantastic track athlete and has shown versatility playing different positions. He’s a prospect on the rise.
