But Adcock has been one of the more productive players in Class 2A this season. He’s still put up numbers in the passing game but he’s also turned around and had a massive impact in the running game. Adcock is a big physical athlete that is just as dangerous in the passing game as he is when he tucks it and runs. He helped lead Eufaula to a district championship in a week ten win over Idabel.

We’ve watched the Eufaula star since his sophomore season and he has only gotten better from there. We were very interested in seeing how Adcock would look this season. Last year, he and wide receiver Khelil Deere were one of the best quarterback-wide receiver duos in the state and Deere graduated. And as for this season, well Adcock hasn’t dropped off at all. In fact, he’s added other elements to his game. He’s running the ball more and showing how physical he can be in the run game, while still having one of the strongest arms in the state.

In the top Class 2A game this week, Eufaula goes on the road to take on Spiro to open up district play. Eufaula has been playing good football after dropping their season opener to Vian. The Ironheads have looked great on the offensive side of the ball over the last two weeks and they’ll look to keep that momentum going on the road this week. Spiro is coming off a loss to Muldrow in a game where the Bulldogs were able to dominate the ground game.
