Simpson is a multi sport athlete already and an a rockstar in the classroom with a 3.7 grade point average. I like this fit here and think Simpson will excel for the Maroons both on and off the field.

Really fun player to watch on both sides of the ball is Zayden Simpson Zayden Simpson ATH Monticello | 2025 State VA this rising senior makes plays especially on defense.
At receiver he is a big sure handed target but at defensive back he is a game wrecker. First team all district selection for his work on defense as a junior, Simpson just picked up an offer from Roanoke College. Trust me when I tell you that he will play at the next level, the key may be which sport as he is a three sport start for the Mustangs.

Last season was Zayden’s first playing football, and he received All-District honors on defense. Turn on his tape and you see his play-making ability as a WR and DB. He showed to be coachable at the combine and a hard worker. Expect him to improve on last year and play a key role for Monticello this fall.
