Zayd Rogan Zayd Rogan 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB Kell | 2025 State GA was just a few inches away from signing with a P4 school, in my opinion. Even at a smaller size, he is often left out on an island against bigger receivers. This is because he has quick, efficient footwork to match release points and the speed to be competitive throughout routes. He is instinctual enough to slip routes and make plays on the football, which he did frequently as a senior. Rogan is a competitive tackler and will need to prove reliable as a tackler to stay on the field.

Zayd Rogan Zayd Rogan 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB Kell | 2025 State GA to Wofford is one of the biggest steals in the class thus far. Rogan might not instantly catch the eyes with his height and weight, but his speed and explosiveness make up for it. Rogan had an INT on the night, but his violent downhill pursuit is what stood out to me. He came downhill and made several physical plays on receivers while also laying a big hit on the QB on a blitz. Despite the size, Rogan has the speed needed to stay in phase with some of the fastest receivers on the field, and he also has a physical edge to fully compensate. I expect Rogan to contribute early and often at Wofford.

I couldn’t get eyes on Rogan during spring ball, because he is currently trying to help Kell win a state championship in baseball. However, his sophomore tape is good and he is a speedy athlete with FBS offers under his belt, and more to come. He might not check a whole lot of size boxes at 5’10 160. However, speed is the ultimate compensator, and he has it. Rogan recently ran 10.8 in the 100M, and he is only getting faster. Creating separation against him is a constant challenge. He has the speed to stick on the hip of WRs throughout the route process, and can recover quickly. He has several INTs on tape where he just finds the ball in his hands, plucking it off the hip of WRs. When he comes downhill, he flies to the football and isn’t afraid of contact. Even with his smaller frame, I think there’s P4 upside. He is an elite baseball player as well, ranking as one of the best in the state. Watch out for him on the diamond.
