The Falcons have long been known for their punishing ground game, and this season, Zaeveon Hutchinson is the unquestioned anchor of that tradition. Standing at 6’5″ and over 300 lbs, Hutchinson is a mammoth presence up front and has been a cornerstone of the offensive line throughout his time with the program.

Now entering a leadership role, Hutchinson isn’t just setting the tone with his size and talent—he’s setting it with his voice and presence. During spring practice, it was clear he’s embraced that responsibility. On the field, he delivers a jarring impact with a powerful punch and plays with the kind of physicality that defines a dominant lineman.

The Seventy-First Falcons have been a dominant force in the East over the past three to four seasons, riding a powerful ground game fueled by a relentless offensive line. Now fully healthy, the 6’5″, 280-pound rising senior is ready to anchor the line and lead a new wave of talent. Hutchinson brings a rare combination of size, strength, and experience to the trenches, and his leadership will be critical as the Falcons look to reload and reclaim their spot atop the East.

With his imposing frame and renewed focus, Hutchinson is poised to be a cornerstone of Seventy-First’s offense — and one of the top linemen to watch in the region this season.

Zaevon is a player that is really impressive on film from an athleticism perspective. He’s got a great physical frame to continue to add weight at 6’5, but he moves very well for a left tackle. On film, Zaevon can get out and pull and fit and drive on 2nd/3rd level defenders and put them in the dirt. Zaevon also excels on down blocks in the running game, and plays with a nasty streak – he finishes defenders to the echo of the whistle. I’m a little surprised he doesn’t have recruiting attention being he plays on a very good team with a lot of talent, but if he keeps his play up it will come sooner than later.
