Nance first hit our radar when he stepped in for his brother at quarterback as a freshman. As a sophomore, he moved to receiver, where he flashed excellent ball skills and catch radius in limited reps. Now fully healthy and immersed in the position, we expect him to have a great season as a junior. He has some ability to play safety, too, and we could see him on that side of the ball.

Nance has been on our radar for a long time, as he backed up his brother, one of Seventy-First’s all-time greats, at quarterback as a freshman. He didn’t have the uptick in volume as an all-purpose athlete that we expected in 2025, but we’re looking at a depth chart that loses a couple of key contributors, and see a clear path to extensive playing time as a junior for the explosive athlete.
