He is also a physical and tough-nosed downhill runner. He punishes defenders when they try to tackle him in the open field. He also has good speed, and when he gets into the open field, he can run by defenders trying to tackle him. Green also has a patient running style, where he knows how to wait for the hole to open up. Green is the complete package as a running back.

He also has a good burst and does a nice job of making defenders miss in the hole. Then, when he gets into the open field, he goes to the races because he has elite speed. Green also shows a tough running style that takes multiple defenders to tackle him. Green has an elite running ability with a strong Senior year and should have an excellent chance of being recruited to play College Football.

This rank is pure projection, with Zaden Green Zaden Green 6'0" | 205 lbs | RB/LB Coatesville | 2026 PA carrying an even higher ceiling than his current rank suggests. Likely a two-way contributor this coming Fall, Green hoping he can elevate his 2023 role at back and backer. Fantastic build, cuts on top of cuts, a fantastic lifter and worker behind the scenes. I’m expecting big things out of Green in 2024, particularly at linebacker. We will see who gets the bulk of the carries behind Hiller, Plant, and McAnally, it very well might be Green who leads the way. That being said, Green has an awesome opportunity to cement himself as a starter at linebacker where he can hunt ball carriers with the same vision and instincts he shows off when the ball is in his hands. His mid-season tape will likely prove to me whether I’m off base on this evaluation.
