About Xavier

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Being an elite track and field athlete my whole life, I like to play fast and make athletic dynamic plays from anywhere on the field,at any time. I make the difficult catches and do more with less.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Winner at every level so far. Quiet, but ready to go,a true gamer no excuse mentality.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Basketball.Kentucky Middle School track State Champions 8th grade. 100 and 200 relay regional and State winner. Qualified for State in 3 events as a sophomore in 2024

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I like to do community service. I developed a hard-nosed work ethic from my dad. He taught me to always do the right thing.He has trained athletes for over 15 years. He is a Certified Athletic trainer and Stregth and Conditioning Coach he’s developed me to challenge myself academically and athletically.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’m free up in a rough Neighboorhood so my dad switched me to a better school. I’ve seen a lot of bad things happen to people around me so I’m trying to have better opportunities: I now attend a Catholic private school were I am challenged everyday..

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a well rounded university. Academics are important, but so is a winning culture. So they both weigh in on my decision.

Xavier Maddox Xavier Maddox Xavier Maddox 6'2" | 155 lbs | WR/ATH Owensboro Catholic | 2026 State KY caught my attention on the camp circuit this offseason and he has continued to stand out as a senior. He is currently the leading receiver in 2A, catching 31 passes for 538 yards and six touchdowns in six games. Maddox is a skilled route runner, using smooth breaks in his routes to create separation from opposing defensive backs. He is also impressive after the catch, showing the speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes into big gains. Maddox currently holds an offer from Kentucky Wesleyan and I expect more to come his way this season.
